Just curious... because everyone here is from around the globe and all... How does Life in Cartoon Motion album cover looks like in your country? Any different designs or different track listings? I live in Indonesia, the album is already out about a month ago... or so (can't remember) but I didn't get the indonesian version because the "design team" decided to slab this very ugly logo across the artsy cover (I'M IN LOVE WITH Life in Cartoon Motion cover) that says "Special Indonesian Edition" .

Pamette -> sadly he hasn't come to Indonesia to do promo. There are some magazines feature articles about him but only general info, you know. I think he's still concentrating on making it in the US, so I guess the rest of the world has to wait being exposed in the US is a good thing so then the rest of the world will catch up. C'MON MIKA DO AN ASIAN PROMO TOUR! even the chances of him coming to Indonesia is really small that's okay,I could always go to Singapore or Malaysia

Blue Sky, I'm aware that most people in Japan think that being called as an otaku as an insult. But I call Mika an otaku in the most lovable way possible I think Maniakku (maniac) would be a less offensive word, but I like saying the word otaku rather than maniakku. Just because otaku is an original japanese word and maniakku is a loan word I'm a self-proclaimed MIKA otaku :mf_rosetinted:Yes, I am dorky like that

JackViolet-> I dunno. I have this fascination with the whole otaku subculture, i guess. And knowing that Mika spent a few hundred pounds for a japanese robot (maybe Gundam or Evangelion or other Mecha) kinda makes him an otaku in my book I know that most japanese think being called an otaku is an insult but I think that otakus are misrepresentated sometimes. Like me I call myself MIKA otaku and L'Arc~en~Ciel otaku and I call Mika an otaku not in an insultive way but in the most endearing way One thing that I kinda get from otakus are the fact that they don't really care about what people say about them, no matter how weird people think they are. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's our Mika right there

it's so fun that you can see him live. I live in Indonesia so I don't think MIKA will come anytime soon I wish I could just see him live

It says that he likes Puffy (a j-pop duo consisting of 2 girls. They have they own cartoon show in Cartoon Network called Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. You might know them from Teen Titans theme song). Yoko Kanno (she arranged many anime and movie theme songs) Shiina Ringo (yeah one of my fave female singer) The Yellow Monkey (another fave band of mine. They did the first ending song of Samurai X) I figure that mika is such an otaku. I think he looked up his name once in google and the name of one of my fave Jp singer Mika Nakashima also comes up XD <-- not sure about the last one though. I hope no one post this already if somebody has please delete ^^. There are many interesting facts on the Japanese page. If anybody is interested I can roughly translate it ^^
