  1. *cough*

Oi, didn't you even see that I'm in the Aussie thread???

  2. Shiny! :das:

Thinking I might join the Kiwi and Aussie threads when the Aussie thread is full... not that it matters that much, but :dunno:

  3. Okies, will do.

Do I get a new siggie? :das:

  4. Nope... Nothing. That reminds me, should check my mail.

  5. *shrugs*

I'm not even thinking about it TBH. If it comes, it comes.

  6. Nope, nothing...

  7. It's an MFC badge.

  8. Hey there Deejay... Welcome! My name's Tegan and I'm the Aussie rep. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

  9. It's not exactly soon, we won't be getting married until November next year. I was a little surprised that you haven't been to a wedding...

Ewww... you poor thing. Hopefully uni isn't too full on so you can get some sleep.

I definitely don't like to do too much on the weekends... except see friends, and maybe play games...

  10. Yeah, I've been a bit quiet actually. I'm desperately trying to figure out who to get to do the photography for my wedding. I have managed to get it down to 5, so maybe I'll contact them and see if they're free and how much they cost.

Sleep is gooooooodddd... So is free time. I love that i don't have to work on a weekend. I was using the internet at work to get on MFC, but I've gotten busy again so I haven't been able to get on here much (and when I spend all day on a computer I don't really feel like going on at all when I'm at home... that and I've been reading a lot lately)...

  11. Makes sense... my first thought was "wow,is that really Mika?"

I listened to it a fair bit today (incl. the whole trip to work :teehee:)

  12. :bye: back at you!

Soooo, what do you think of Mika's new song?

  13. It's all good. :teehee:

I prefer heat... as long as it's not to humid though. I really can't keep myself warm enough.

  14. I thought the same thing...

Yeah, it's quite amusing... I hoped it would be at least a little nice, but no such luck. And yep, plenty of greyness. I am kinda pleased to be back home. It may be slightly colder than over in England, but there's sun so there's the illusion of sun :bleh:

  15. It's all good. I actually replied to your post but the server that hosts the site crapped itself last week and everything after the 20th of April got deleted.

And yay, assignments. Don't really envy you there. Sorry.

Yep, I'm here right now! It's been pretty good weather in Scotlad to be honest, and it was the place I was worried about the most! I thought Either London or France would be reasonable warm and/or sunny, but they were wet and cold! Admittedly it's a little cool, but there's sun!

It's actually very nice. I'm maybe a few kms from the Roal Mile (where a lot of the exciting stuff happens) and besides around there, it's reasonably quiet. It really surprises me though how much the newer buildings stand out when you're surrounded by old stuff...

  16. Ooooh, that's a sandwich place right? Been there... very nice food.

Fish and chips is good sometimes. Haven't had any more since I've gotten back to London from France, but then again i won't be here for long... i don't mind some fancy cheeses, never really liked blue cheese though (seeing as you mentioned it :teehee:)

I really don't want to do it, but i have to sort my bag out cause Im flying out to Edinburgh tomorrow! :woot_jump:

  17. Mmmmmm, croissants... we had some really nice ones on the plane. And they kept feeding us which was good.

Ooooh, i felt like that last night! i had the biggest piece of fish with some nice chips at this cool little pub in London. luckily I've been walking everywhere so i can walk off the food.

  18. I'm hoping that will happen, especially since I've been pigging out on food over hte last few days. Luckily I didn't get too much chocolate (well, compared to everyone elseI didn't get much!), but I still have an egg, a little bunny, about a 1/3 of a jar of sour worms and 1/2 a bunny to finish off. It's so easy to overdose on chocolate (I feel like I've had too much and I've had to smallish hollow eggs and a little bunny today)...

See, there's no way I could get up earlier than I already do to exercise, I get up at about 6am cause i leave for work by about 7:20am. I attempt to exercise after work, and that ususally involves taking the dog cause he gets a bit upset if I don't take him :teehee:

Some of the courses were one large plate for the whole table to share (the one thing I remember like that were the oysters), but the rest of it was just really little plates of stuff... I still struggles towards the end of dinner though.

  19. No probs... :huglove:

I plan on eating lots of food... and hopefully I won't put on too much weight cause I really need to start doing some exercise and stuff...

The ones I've been to have been really nice for different reasons... the last wedding I went to was a cousin's and he and his wife got married in this old movie theatre that our grandfather used to show movies in... twas good cause it kinda felt like my grandparents were still there and not only that, the last time I went there was the day of my grandfather's funeral.

Pretty most of the weddings I've been to have been really nice, though one of my cousins had a massive wedding for her first one, she was marrying an Italian man nad he had a hug family (seriously, we had something like 7 courses of food)!

  20. Cat, don't worry about it! Everyone has those times where they can't visit (and don't feel like you're being rude for dropping off the radar). Just come in when you can. I saw someone that I don't think has been here in over a year (maybe two), so people do drop off and come back.

I've been pretty well, been trying to organise 50 things at once! I'm trying to organise my trip to Europe (and I'm going in a week and a 1/2 ) and a wedding (and was organising an engagement party, but that's all done :biggrin2:).

  21. I don't know why he decided to get fans rather than professional dancers. I guess this way it's cheaper, because at times he would have 12 big girls and to pay for travel and accommodation for that many people would be expensive.

I'd love to follow him around the world, but it's just way too expensive! If he want to pay me lots of money to follow him around the worl, then I could do that :teehee:

He is very cute... I love some of the faces he pulls! Especially the Chubby Bunny one, I love it!

  22. A lot of it is down to luck and being in the right place at the right time. If you can be a big girl or a lollipop girl (if they have them on the next tour), then that's usually a good way to meet him. Sometimes Mika meets people that were on stage after the show and he might get photos with them and sign some stuff, but it all depends on if he's really tired or not.

Also, a lot of people will wait for him outside the venue after the show. Depending on how many people there are and if people are being sensible, you might get an autograph (and a photo if you're lucky), but again it all depends on whether Mika's tired or not.

I was so excited when i got the flowers, I didn't know anything about it at all!

I was pretty lucky to be a big girl, mostly because I was a little smaller than a few of the others. Luckily they had a smaller outfit so I could still go on stage.

  23. I've managed to meet Mika twice. The first time was in 2007 when he first came to Australia. All that happened was I had a quick chat to him (pretty much asked for an autograph and photo) then after the show we went backstage and told him how much we enjoyed it.

The second time was in 2009. I managed to get picked to be a big girl on stage and so I saw him briefly before the show (though he didn't say anything except "Hi"). His mum helped me get dressed into the corset and Yasmine put some glow in the dark face paint on the big girls. After the show, I managed to talk to Mika and I thanked him for sending me flowers earlier in the year when I was in hospital and then managed to get a hug from him :wub2:...

  24. You definitely have to do that! I love hearing about people meeting Mika and his family... It always makes me smile.

  25. Lol! Good luck with that!

I was so surprised when I first met Mika, he seemed so friendly... They must all be really friendly like that!
