  1. Awwwwww, that's just too cute! Good to see you floating around BTW...
  2. Ooooooh, exciting! I think my hubby might have to take me along to see it. Actually, he was just singing along to it, so I think I'm starting to get him interested in Mika's music I agree, it really does refresh it a bit.
  3. I haven't yet, though that's probably a good idea. I might even get it from Japan. I've got a little while to go before I need to worry about it.
  4. Yeah, I'm not too keen on doing it again TBH... Ummm, we need to do something to catch his attention cause he'd get a stack of tweets already (especially ones asking him to tour in a particular country). Have a think on it and I'll think too. Which reminds me, I might message one of the fans on FB that might be interested.
  5. Yeah, I was going to say the same thing as silver, though it wouldn't hurt to tweet him. Keep in mind that he should announce plenty more dates so an Aussie date might not be too far off Of course, I can get sick like I did last time and guilt him into touring
  6. Someone's gotta fly the flag here Still trying to check it all out though, but I like how you can like people's posts. Funny thing is, the first thought when I logged on was "But I liked it before" I just realised, the light blue we all used for hiding text shows up. I figured out though that the Alice Blue colour hides very nicely... Cause we all need a hidden colour for stuff.
  7. If someone didn't complain about preferring the old one then I'd probably drop dead from shock!
  8. It'd be good to see Mika back in Australia. I'm not sure how I'll get there, considering I have a little baby to look after...
  9. Hmmmmm... Pornstache It's-a me, Mario! I guess we had the same idea
  10. We'll see... It's great to see China getting some dates!
  11. His father did end up taking him to Sydney, though the doctor said he couldn't operate. Apparently they're going to try chemo to shrink it a bit. Well, we got back from Bundanoon this afternoon. Yesterday we put Samuel into the Bonnie Bairns competition and he won out of the boys in his age group! Here's some pics: As his prize he got a free photoshoot, so I'm waiting on those. I'm also waiting on some pictures in the newspaper (there's photos from the day on the site, but the right ones haven't been uploaded yet).
  12. Well, Mum has made another outfit out of a different tartan, so Little Man has 2 choices in outfit and the highland gathering is next weekend Found out some pretty shocking news a few days ago. My cousin is going to Sydney to see a neurosurgeon tomorrow as he has a large brain tumour (this is the third time he's been diagnosed with it), so not really sure how he's going to go with it or what the doctor will do (if anything). Though what I find sad about the whole situation is that my elderly grandparents had to tell his father that they expected him to take my cousin to the appointment. He didn't take my cousin when he had the first tumour (my parents did), and can't remember who took him the second time but I know his father didn't. But anyways...
  13. I have to admit I'm a bit about the song. The music is alright, but the lyrics (especially the chorus) aren't that great IMO. I may end up changing my mind about it though.
  14. GO AUSTRALIA!!! :aussie: :aussie: :aussie: :aussie: Sorry, couldn't help myself
  15. I was gonna say that 3 hrs is here to the outskirts of Sydney, and totally do-able for me
  16. Ooooh, righto. Well considering Mika managed to sell out a venue in Sydney with 2200 people in 2009, so I definitely think he could do it in London. It would be nice to see Mika do some actual shows rather than just festivals.
  17. I think you've hit the nail on the head for me silver. That and what Karin said about this place being our history. If it goes, I'll have to save one or two threads. How would you give the country reps more prominence? I know that some of the larger countries (fan numbers that is) had at least two reps, but others like Australia have only had one at a time.
  18. No she doesn't. She can follow reasonably difficult patterns though so that's not too bad. I might have a look at Etsy and see if there's any patterns on there I can buy. I don't know how people manage to knit. I'm lucky to be able to knit a scarf.
  19. Whoops, didn't realise what I posted! Mum's still working on the outfit. She's currently made a pair of trews, a vest (from the same tartan) and a bib, and is still knitting a hat. Mum wants to try to find some Royal Stewart tartan, though I don't like her chances of finding some and making the outfit in time. She's also thinking of knitting some booties like the following picture: Actually, while I was searching for a pic I found these: Anyways, I'll be sure to get some pics of little man once he's wearing the outfit.
  20. Oh, it is tempting. It tends to be not only wet but cold on the day so I don't want him to get too cold. Maybe he'll get a little kilt when he's a big boy
  21. MELZY! Okay yeah I see you on FB a fair bit, but still... it's exciting to see you on here Yeah, he is pretty cute. I am a little biased though. And no probs, I'm here to make people clucky with my cute baby. Hey Tanya! Good to see you visit Maybe little man and I (and hubby of course) need to come to Melbourne for a visit Have you seen her around? *wipes tear from eyes* God I've missed you in here... and Britney is welcome in here any time... I'll second that. Love looking at cute baby pics. Yeah, good luck with that. OMG, do it!!! For some reason I feel DC should be part of this. Nah, I don't think that'll work. Then again, he is doing two shows in Japan so maybe that's a good omen. Awwwwwwww, that's too cute! I have had a couple of Mika related dreams (last one was maybe a month or so ago). The basic description of the dream was that I was going to where the gig was going to be, but I always woke up just before Mika came on stage. Wonder what that means? Sooooo, the most exciting things to happen around here is that we went to the pool in the town where Dad grew up for Australia day, and little man had his first swim in the pool (and loved it), and our family team won the swimming relay, which was good. We've got my cousin's little girl's 1st birthday on Saturday, I'm going to see a psychic on the 1st of March (I'm mostly curious to see what stuff this chick will come up with) and in April we'll be going to a highland gathering and Mum's making little man a tartan outfit ft. trousers, a vest, a bowtie and a little hat. We're hoping to win a competition for the little kiddies...
