You are right. The "for the next few months" part seems to signify we'll have to wait a rather... longish time for the new album to be released. Maybe the sole purpose of Mikasounds is, at the moment, keeping alive the fan's interest on Mika's next cd, even though the progress made be very little. After all, letting your fans know what you are up to, each day, gives them the impression you are constantly moving. Anyhow... I prefer to wait a little longer for a brilliant new album rather than Mika releasing a mediocre, though earlier, one. But let's be sincere: I don't think he'd ever release something mediocre. It was just a form of speech, lol.

Yes! I completely agree. I mean... of course, I respect the interpreters of the original songs and their versions. They've done a great job, but Mika's touch makes the songs special, for some reason. (Maybe because I love his voice and his energy? LOL). I realized this when I first listened to his version of 'I want you back'. When Mika sings that song, there's a special vibe floating in the air which is not in the original song. (Haha! I know some people who would kill for saying this).

My fave cover is, definitely, 'Everybody's Talking'. I so love it! Could spend hours listening to it (in fact, I do each time I watch the DVD, lol). The second one is 'I've got life'. His voice sounds amazing on that one. It makes my hairs stand on end, haha. Until now, I've liked every cover Mika has done. As someone pointed out earlier, I often feel Mika's versions of the songs are much better than the original interpretations. Wonder why.

Les cuento que, dentro de unos días, es mi colación de grados y ayer me fui de shopping, porque necesitaba ropa para la ocasión. Cuestión... que entré a un negocio todo ashí, re top y, mientras yo miraba pantalones de vestir... ¡empezó a sonar Big Girl en la radio!
