First of all thanks everyone for the pics and videos! Seeing them is a bit like turning back time and being at this incredible gig.
The concert in Monaco was super amazing!!
The start with Un Soleil Mal Luné was truly magical! I cant imagine a better way to start a concert. Such an emotional and beautiful song and performance!
All the new intros/outros and arrangements were all so exciting to hear! Even though I'm never ever bored of hearing the old versions it's very fascinating to discover this new and fresh way to approach the songs we've known for years now.
One of my favorite moments was the Big Girl intro, it made me smile a lot!
Hearing Mika play the piano a lot was a dream come true for me! He really is an amazing piano player. You can feel the emotion when he plays and that is the most important thing when it comes to playing the piano. I was listening to the Ronquieres audio the other day and he said you're going to be happy to hear that for the next songs only Curtis is going to play the piano. I was like no way, how can we be happy to hear that?!? I very much appreciate it when Mika plays the piano:wub2:
Over My Shoulder was such a wonderful surprise, it felt as though we were given the most wonderful gift! It truly was such a beautiful performance!!!
Origin of Love and Underwater were both highlights of the show for me! Can't properly describe how much I enjoyed hearing them. They were simply incredibly brilliant! The part were everyone sings during Underwater is always so heartwarming!
The audience was very responsive, everyone sung and danced and you could see they were having the time of their lives. It always makes me happy to see that, he deserves to have an enthusiastic audience so much.
The Monaco concert was perfect! It made me smile so much and meeting Mika after the gig was equally heartwarming:wub2:

"Ribelle per me significa essere fuori del cliché"
Love this quote and totally agree with it. Also love what he said about collecting cultures. It's true that the best way to understand and really get to know a culture is to learn its language.
Very interesting article, thanks Eugenio for posting!

Great interview! Love what he said about looking for originality among the XFactor participants and not for singers for just want to please their ego:thumb_yello:

It's a lovely article! It was great to read how Live Your Life was written. Always wondered if the lyric with Kathmandu has something to do with his holidays in Nepal.
Thanks Laura!

Aspettando X Factor 2013… Intervista ad Ale Cattelan
http://xfactor.sky.it/2013/07/18/aspettando-x-factor-2013-intervista-ad-ale-cattelan/

I can't understand Italian language....
what does he talk about Mika ???
He said that Mika is star, the best and very intelligent. Also called him simpatico which can be translated as really nice. When one of the contestants performed a song of Pharell Mika talked about working with him in the studio.
At the end he predicted that Mika will coach the team of the contestants who are 25 or older but of course no one knows about that yet.

The concert in Grenoble has been beyond amazing!!!
The first song was Un Soleil Mal Luné and the performance was incredibly beautiful! This is the perfect song to start a gig with, I absolute adore it:wub2:
Also it was really fascinating to hear all those awesome new intros of the songs! My favorite was the one for Lollipop, it made it sound like it was a completely new song! Really hope we get to find a good video of it.
I was very happy to hear Karen again, it is one of my most favorite songs ever!!! Mika said that Karen is actually from Grenoble.
Elle me dit was one of the best moments of the show for me!! AMAZING!!!
All the performances were fantastic, no doubt about that!
During Underwater thousands of phones lit up the anneau de vitesse, creating a really magical image! What a beautiful moment! It was truly heartwarming to see Mika's smile when he saw that!!!
It was obvious that the audience in Genoble absolutely loved the concert and they weren't afraid to show it. Mika deserves to have audiences like this one, felt very happy for him!
This concert was phenomenal and super special, the perfect gig really!

Thanks for the pics and vids! Looks like it must have been yet another brilliant show! Can't wait to see more vids!
Eriko found and tweeted this. Could someone please translate? I can't figure out what he's saying except they wanted to throw him in prison because he accidentally did or had something?xgGpoQGNbqk
He says that they wanted to send him to jail because he accidentally let the flag fall to the floor.

Loved watching him on this show! What an amazing performance:wub2:
Also very much agree with what he said about music being like a medicine. It's very true, music can always make you feel a lot better!
When learning something intensely it's normal that it will first come to your mind.Exactly! It's natural for him to remember Italian first since he's been studying so hard lately. It doesnt mean that he's actually forgotten Spanish. Knowledge of a language can't be erased or forgotten, especially if you studied it for many years.

And for what I saw in Milan, I noticed people being enchanted by his personality, it was really in the air, I watched people's eyes, smiling and nodding at what he said.
I heard several guys saying: "cool, this guy." #soproud
Thats wonderful to hear!

Thank you, PurpleCat!

YACHT from Mika Limited Edition 2013
Un modello interamente in legno, con inserti in pelle e metallo, a conferma della passione di Mika per il vintage. Non male, vero?
very very stylish!!

Very much enjoyed watching this interview!
What he says about the Italian cuisine is true. It really is light and very tasty of course (and you can eat senza paura).
I like it very much, especially what he says about XF. He is totally what I expected him to be as a judge. He doesn't gets untrue to himself. If that would have been the case than I would have had big problems of him being a judge as well. At the moment it's really interesting so see him working as a judge.
Totally agree with you! I was always sure that he'd continue to be true to himself and that he'd never ever sacrifice his integrity. What he says about XFactor in this interview proves exactly that once again.
It really is fascinating seeing him as a judge, really looking forward to hearing more about that!
