hello dear mfc'ers, it's gabi. i am alive and very very well. actually, all my photos from our dec 2 apollo night are uploading right now to the site where jemma said we should put them. i'm sorry i disappeared. it was like i needed to be the quiet within and think about things. the experience, listening to my struggling inner voice and last minute buying tickets to the dec 1 show, meeting all of you and sharing first row with you; then dec 2 the entire ticket swap (200 pounds each remember) stress, commute, mobile, the disappointment of it all, you guys as this amazing loving community, our dancing like crazy to mika at the bar, it all was such an intense experience; i just needed to be alone with it, like some secret world within that made me smile each time i'd open my drawer and see the mfc shining heart necklace that kata gave my brother and my brother gave me sitting there, winking at me. so, that was one huge run on sentence. not sure i can follow it either. it's like midnight and i am also kinda exhausted so it does not help with the clarity part of things. bottom line: you guys are amazing, that night at the bar was emotional and awesome, mika is beyond words amazing, and i'm just simply in love. so, i'm back and loving to read all that you guys wrote in this 22 page long thread. was absolutely sure that this was my one and only gig and now, i think i maybe maybe maybe have one more chance to see mika and then for sure, i'm done for a long long while- until he comes to israel. so, maybe but i think there is a good chance that mickey and i are going to go to philly and boston. it's crazy but i think we'll do it. will we see any of you there? i looked at those forums and didn't see any of your names. i won't be able to stay for the sat nt new york gig- it makes life too complicated though i know you guys will most probably be there. the philly and boston gigs are much smaller i imagine so like you guys always told me, here will be my real chance to see and maybe talk to mika properly. my brother from houston and i from israel were in london. i went last minute to the dec 1 hammersmith apollo show while my brother lay sick in the hotel room. we both arrived dec 2 with a huge mobile gift to give mika and so much stress and problems and worries and when we found the event was cancelled, i was let's just say a tad upset. well, was sure that was my mika chance and now, it looks like i get one last mika meeting. anyone know how many seats at this venue? i want standing stall up front. how do you get those from ticketmaster? deb, will i finally get to meet you? gabi:wink2:

when i arrived after so much stress, hassle, and work from like 4 hours in route with this huge handmade amazing mobile in my hand to the concert and saw it was cancelled, it was really really hard for me. i cried, of course, and mika fan club friends you guys were amazing in helping me out and comforting me. at some point i thought i would have to take apart the huge crazy thing and take it back to israel with me. sivan saw cherise out of the corner of her eye and she had already passed us. she yelled out her name and sweet cherise turns around and comes back. she was so sweet to me (i'm still boo hooing at this point) and keeps saying 'no worries' and happily takes my mobile. some of you have great pics of the mobile and me giving it to cherise. i'd love to see it! anyhow, what a nice person. what a sweet and kind, nice person. go cherise. and if you ever read this: thank you for being there for me. you were God-sent. gabi

hi guys. its gabi from israel come out of the darkness. i needed some time within my quiet to absorb the whirlwind of emotions and experiences from the london adventure. was absolutely sure that london was my one shot and meeting you guys and seeing mika and all made a serious imprint on me. i needed to close up a bit into my thoughts about it all. now it looks like i have one more last amazing chance until my mika boy decides to come to israel. so, i think, hope, pray that my brother and i can come to philly and boston. question of wise fan clubers: how do i buy the best priced tickets for those shows? for anyone not privileged enough to hear i spent 200 pounds EACH on my dec 3 tickets and thought i got a deal. now i'm wiser:blush-anim-cl: all my love, gabi

your mobile string is amazing. i'm scared the mobile will get crushed on the buses and trams today so i'll be setting it up and tying the strings together when i get there. don't worry about cameras. everyone brought them in and used them. no worries. gabi i hope to get into the line around 1pm. thanks for the help yesterday girls. see you soon. gabi

he was amazing! so sexy!! so talented!! so full of energy!!! so sweet!!! and even though he was not feeling good at all (and two band members were ill too) they put on a great show!!! it was unreal. i recorded everything i could with my brother mickey's cell phone camera and at the same time just tried to watch him in total amazement and admiration through my own eyes. i was so close- i have no words. jammy, suzy, and christine looked after me all night. i met daz and he was a raz taz riot. sivan was at the front of the line like promised. i met the ever sweet and totally reliable and ready to help rose the penguin. i even met summer and sara whom i had heard about fondly as well. sort of like an extended family that already loves you and now is close and able to hug you. i think, no i know that i will get to give mika the amazing mobile tomorrow. i'll tell you the entire story later. but, IT WILL HAPPEN and i can't wait. more to tell, but maybe this is getting too long. i thought we were still collecting quilt patches from people. maybe it's just 2 am in israel and i'm too tired. maybe it's that i go online every fews days and just keep losing the threads. either way, if i can still join in and send a patch (even though i can't sew) can someone please let me know at gabiklaf@yahoo.com i check it every day so i probably can't manage to lose my email address. also, almost last chance for any more pics of you to glue onto the mobile. by the way, the quilt looks amazing gabi

yeah i know. that's ok. there are blessing now that we just didn't have in our lives when we looked younger in the mirror. mika and loving his music for example was a thrill and joy i did not have those years ago. all mylove gabi

great@! i'm the homeschooling mother of three little kids. give lectures and teach courses. have a very full and meaningful life, besides trying to keep the house looking normal and doing laundry. i'm 33 and in love like i am 17. it is great what having something exciting in your life can do to you. this whole mika thrill has added such joy to my life. really. a blessing that i will seek more of in the future. having a concert in dec 3 that i am flying to to go see is like this awesome electric flash of WLAKSDJFLKAJSDFLKJASAAAHHHHH! and i love it. i wrote about it in my myspace - which by the way i only openned so that i could talk to sivan way back when. now, it is my mika place. slowly but surely. by the way, you still have a week to email me your picture to add to the mika mobile i am making with other fans. or if you want to string some beads onto a string and glue a pic yourself you can mail it to my london hotel by dec 2. thanks for sharing with me feeling so excited and so alive with mika's music. gabi

would love to go to a mika get together. i'll be in from israel for three days just for the dec 3 concert. can we do, even a small get together , then? my brother and i will be there if you do. by the way, i really realy really want a heart necklace for the concert and i forgot who was gonna give me one maybe. it depends on the other country. the US allows people to carry dual citizenships (meaning dual passports as well) with i think less than like 10 countries around the world. i have an israeli and american passport- am citizens of both countries. most countries require you to denounce one citizenship in order to get the other. don't know lebanon's policy. either way, he's amazing and on whatever citizenship or nationality he considers himself, he's a blessing and a joy. by the way, he calls himself a mixed mutt. cutest mute i've ever laid my eyes on. gabi

ok. so we are making mika this really great super-colorful mobile. my daughter today asks me 'how will mika know it is from us?'. i said 'we'll write him a note' ' no, why don't we glue our picture on it' and then i thought that was genius and wanted to invite our fan friends to add their pictures onto our mobile too. so, if you guys want to make a long string or two filled with crazy, colorful, whatever beads and glue your pictures onto it in between the beads, i can get it from you dec 2 or 3 and add it to the mobile. OR if you don't feel like making your own mobile string, just send me a pic or two of you to gabiklaf@yahoo.com and i'll print it and add it to the mobile. make the pictures really small or regular size ones that i can cut out something small from you won't believe how great it looks so far. but how to get in on the plane? gabi

so you guys say 'relax take it easy' yes, yes, i'm getting closer. last week i almost killed my kids cuz i was such a nervous wreck. ok, i'm better now, but still a few things that don't help. how do i know what time and where to be in london dec 3? how do i get a heart necklace? what's with the dress colorful? do you guys dress in costumes or just as colorful as possible? sivan says i can call her if she has a phone (sweetheart) but if she does not, how can i see you guys. also, not sure which chelsea house. so, uhhh. i appreciate all of your comfort. really really really. but i need just a few real detailed instructions like arrive at the house we are staying at at 3pm, take a taxi with us. or 'arrive at the concert site at 2pm and call this number' or try this. we'd love to see you before the concert so come at lunch, and then we'll all go together. let's try the comfort approach.
