  3. Not sure if this is already on here but I've had a search and couldn't find anything. Just recieved the following e-mail from Mikasounds: Hey, important and urgent news! As you may know, the last two dates of MIKA’s uk tour had to be postponed this week due to sickness and they have now been rescheduled as follows: 25th February – Hammersmith Apollo 26th February – Brixton Academy. All ticket holders who originally held tickets for the postponed shows can swap them for tickets for their respective rescheduled shows, or get a full refund. There has also been an additional date added as follows: 28th February – Brixton Academy You have the opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on general sale by following this link: http://www.seetickets.com/gat/event.asp?n|showname=coming&showname=mika&e|promoter=372&filler1=gigsandtours&filler2=mika Love Mikasounds I can't go  but thought you might like to know about it if you don't already!
  4. All parcelled up and ready to post in the morning!
  5. I found this helped when my cousin died: "Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die." My thoughts are with you
  6. Neither does mine but he has to live with it - I live with his Volvo obsession, he lives with my Mikaisms! Ce la vie!
  7. Was thinking something similar myself - although I am a Hollyoaks fan! Just good to hear his songs getting played in different places
  8. Will be on E4+1 (Freeview Channel 30) in little less than 1 hour!! Or tomorrow at 6.30pm on Channel 4! Two more chances to see it again - YAY!!
  9. WOW!! Just read through all 18 pages. These ideas sound fab! I think the ship is far more do-able than the globe - especially if time is of the essence! And I love the certificates idea so that everyone can get involved. I'd love to be part of it! *puts on thinking cap to try to come up with some ideas of own* Let me know when you start a new thread

    Hey peeps!

Yeah, that was me (I think!) Everyone seems so friendly here. I've spent most of my free time on here since I got back to Aberdeen late on Sunday (due to car breaking down on way home from gig on Saturday!) - mostly reading about all your fantastic antics - can't wait to get involved in a future projects. Just wish I'd known about MFC earlier! Oh well, no point dwelling on the past - I'll just have to jump right in to the future! Thanks to everyone for their warm welcomes - I feel like I'm part of a great big happy family *hugs to all*
  12. I've only just joined MFC after seeing Wendi hand over your petition at the Glasgow gig on Saturday night but would love to hear this song. is it only those inolved who can get it? It seems like you guys have soooo much fun on here. Can't wait to get involved in a future project!
  13. Wish I knew about this site before I went to the gig last night! Just found out about it when Wendi handed over the petition. Well, the whole thing, from queueing in the pouring rain to waiting in the, still, pouring rain at the end, was totally fantastic. This was my first Mika gig - but definitely not my last! Not really got anything new to add to what has been said already - but what a show he put on! And the ma-hoosive grin on his face suggested that he was enjoying it as much as we were! I didn't manage to get up front but had an amazing view from where I was (let me know how to upload pics and I will as soon as my lil sis sends me them!). Very little jostling and pushing, just lots of happy bounciness! Must sleep

    Hey peeps!

Hi all. I am Morag, a 28 year old primary teacher from Aberdeen. Was at gig in Glasgow last night - OH WHAT A NIGHT !! Can't remember the last time I had sooooo much fun! Met Mika after the gig and got t-shirt signed - felt like a star-struck 15 year old !! Watched Wendy handing over the petition, which is, incidentally how I discovered this site!! Thank you Wendy!!! My lil sis first introduced me to Mika's music and it made me feel so happy and bouncy that I rushed out to buy it for myself. Well, that's me. Looking forward to chatting
