  1. I've also uploaded Les champs Elysées http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=nF_QJnCK1pQ
  2. Thanks for the comments guys. Here is the Grace Kelly video: http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=TB0CbRTp0uc too bad there is this guy shouting "En anglais, en anglais" at the beginning!!
  3. Hello all, I dont really have anything to add to the brilliant reports. Concert was fantastic. I loved the part with the competition btw the greeks and romans. The crowd was really good too. I just wish the concert had started earlier !! Didn't like Yelle at all, Lanes was ok though. Just wanted to share my pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/15132907@N00/ I am currently uploading Grace Kelly in french on youtube, ill post the link later on. Christelle.
  4. I apologize if it's been already said, Ive only read the 1st and last page of the topic. I don't think you can really hold against Mika the fact that he tells the same stories at the gigs. I dont think it has to do with experience, it has more to do with trying to put the best show possible. When he sees that one of his comments/story works with the audience, he is going to repeat it more, it's probably safer but at the same time he is sure that its not going to fall flat. You also have remember that 90% of the audience are gonna see the concert just once, so they'll never know that the story has been told 10 times already!! I have been to only 2 Mika concerts, so I cant really tell if I would get bored hearing the same thing a few times. However i have been to quite a few U2 shows on their last tour and Ive listened to many bootlegs, and even though Bono has almost 30 years of stage experience and is great public speaker, he is gonna tell the same stories over and over again. It doesnt take away from their performance because even if u have heard the story already, you still enjoy it because its told a bit differently every night and its great to see the crowd reaction. As fans we would like to hear different stories, different songs (although Mika has only 1 album, he could do more covers...), I guess his ultimate goal is to put on the perfect show to build his reputation. On the radio 1 interview earlier today, he talked about doing some acoustic shows, more intimate, that's probably where he'll be able to take more risk and perform different songs, tell new stories every night... I hope he does that soon!! although tickets will probably be difficult to get!! anywayssss, just my 2cents.
  5. Hello all, better late than never, here are some of the pictures I took in Doncaster:http://www.flickr.com/photos/15132907@N00 The concert was great but I prefered the Glasgow one, even if I had a better spot in Doncaster (2nd row middle vs 2nd row left)... Maybe because Glasgow was my first one... maybe because the crowd wasnt as much into it as mentioned in earlier posts... Anyway, the fantastic thing was to have Mika right in front of me when he was on the piano, it felt like he was singing just for me!! any other world is probably my favorite moment in the concert. It was nice to spend time with some MFCers at the campanile at the breakfast. Hi to Em, rak1, rose and everyone else I've forgotten the nicknames already, sorryyyyyyy. I hope to see you guys again some day for another Mika's concert. Let's hope that he does some more next year in Europe. However, he really needs a good rest. He looks tired on some of my pix. See you all, Christelle.
  6. Hello Desperate for 1 standing ticket for Doncaster tomorrow. please pm me if you have one thanks christelle
  7. Hi, I am looking for 1 standing ticket for Doncaster on Saturday. Please pm me if you have a spare one. Thanks, Christelle.
  8. Hi all, I'm new on the forum. I'm French but I live near Edinburgh. I just wanted to say thank you to the person who sold me a ticket at the door. She was one of the first persons in the queue. Thanks to her I had a fantastic time, it was my first Mika concert and it's not gonna be the last, thats for sure!! I'm even looking into driving for 5h30 to attend the Doncaster show on Saturday. but once again I dont have any ticket, so if anyone has an extra one for sale, let me know!! the concert was simply amazing. It's the first concert i have been to that you exit the venue with a big smile on your face!! and after the concert, meeting Mika made it all even more fantastic!! he is such a sweet and cute guy!!! and I got to kiss him (on the cheeks only:-)) I have uploaded some pix on flickr if you want to have a look http://www.flickr.com/photos/15132907@N00/ his smile is so beautiful on the one from oustside...... I hope I can meet some of the fan club members in the future, maybe in Doncaster, if I get crazy and decide to go!! Christelle.
