July... Well, the first time that I went to one of his shows! Fabulous, wonderful, colourful... I have enjoyed it so much! Pity my husband dragged me back to our car directly afterwards, so I didn't even get the slightest change to go to the meet-and-greet... I also really enjoy the blogs, that's a huge plus to me! It's great to see that FINALLY there's an artist who understands how to use 'modern' technology for his own benefits. It's a great way of keeping in touch (sort of) with your fans, without actually having to deal with them directly (if you know what I mean, no offence btw). This month has left me curious of all the 'candy' still to come!

I don't have much experience with layouts, but I do know my way around Photoshop pretty well... So if you need any help, I'd be happy to! Just let me know, okay?

This is what I made for the giftbook. I made it completely from felt into a black background. Looked kinda cool. My letter is in the little booklet that I put on. Hotdlp, do you remember which page I was on?

I'm so glad she likes the book. There's a lot of work in it! We all got our little magic wands out in effort to create the best piece of artwork we could. Now, did you take pictures to show us? I could anyway put a picture here of my work, 'cause I took a picture before I sent it to you...

I really like that picture you made!!! Wow! You should scan it and then resize to fit a4. Nothing will have to be cut off then... Would be a shame, wouldnt it?

I just put my stuff on the mail. I put on a priority sticker, so it should arrive in te middle of next week. Could you let me know when it's arrived?

Yes, I've finished!!!! And I'm really impressed of my own work (ahum)... I'll send it by mail as soon as I can (probably friday). I'll have it on priority mail and then it will take about 3 days to get there...

Yahoo! Stuff has come in and working hard now!!!

Well, the delivery guy has promised to finally get my parcel over to my address (Yay, have been waiting for it since half december)... So I'm starting to prepare my project now... Working hard!

Wow, those mosaics really look great! You can even make them more accurate if you choose to make the tiles smaller.

It automatically saves the picture in the same folder as where it got the collection from (the collection of pictures used to create the mosaic). You can also start a search: the name of the mosaic will be "original_name mosaic.JPG" I don't think the pictures have to be the same size though...

Well, I just installed the program and you can tell the program to use every picture once, or at least once. It's running a mosaic for me now and I'm very curious about the result!

Wouldn't it be really cool to use our baby photos and put them up in the poster in such a way that it would together form another image, like Mika's name or such? Well, if you know what i mean anyway... *searching on the internet* Something like this: But then create a Mika mosaic with our baby pictures. Ah, thanks (bit late to reply, but had my kids a bit under the weather). My great inspiration is Miss Piggy... Just gotta love her! I think it IS going to be really exciting! But my order still hasn't arrived because the mailman believes my address doesn't exist... Hmmm, I knew it was going to cause trouble to going living in a newly built house! But they're gonna try again, so hopefully I'll get it tomorrow! Keep my fingers crossed... I really need the time to finish it!

Well, here it is! I was just over 1 year old here, together with my older brother... It's about 30 years ago (getting OLD!!!)... Sorry for the bad quality, but in MY DAYS we simply didn't have any digital cameras (or any other good working one obviously!). Just downscale it and it'll look better! I think my outfit is okay, but look at those shorts of my brother! Takes me right back to Wham! And urm... That skirt of my mum in the background... Gotta love flowers!!!
