Feb 5th, 2008 at the HOB in Chicago. my friend and i were second row. during How Much Do You Love Me i was one of the only people (at least around me) that was singing along to it, and when he got to the chorus the first time around (before other people caught on) he looked at me quickly with a sort of "how do you know this?" look because i was singing along. he did the same thing again during Love Today, because it was the slower version, and i knew it from the Live DVD then the best thing ever! the first time during the whole concert that mika put his hand out to the crowd everyone jumped towards him, and i was pushed back so i couldn't grab his hand. but then while he was doing lollipop, he pulled the guy in front of me onstage, so i pushed right up to the front row. i was absolutely SCREAMING his name, and throwing my hand in the air, and he had heard me, turned around and came right over and held my hand. it was pure bliss. and then i started crying.

i'm beyond excited right now! less than a week away to seeing the man, live! i dunno what i'm wearing quite yet. for sure my skinny jeans, maybe my andy warhol shirt with my neon pink scarf. and i plan i buying one of the lovely rosettes when i get there. =]] but if i find anything better (outfit wise) in chicago i might just wear it instead!

my friend and i definitely plan on staying after the concert, it would be lovely to all meet up. =]

i'm not getting to chicago until about 12-1ish. would being in liine by 6 be too late? considering my mom and my friend and i wanna see the city a bit before hand.

It's lovely to be here, and i hope i can become great friends with all of you. =] i first got into Mika around March, when i was watching Much Music. The Grace Kelly music video came on, and i truly didn't know what to make of it. So i quickly downloaded the song and realized that i loved it! For some odd reason i didn't download anymore, but in May on my trip to New York with our school band, i re-found Mika. Our tour guide played his album non-stop the whole ride into Manhattan, and i was addicted! the next day we went to the big Virgin Records store and bought the album. I've been a fan ever since.
