Over that past year I have become a huge Mika fan. I discovered his music threw a comercial actually. There was an ad on tv for his album I think and clips of the video for Love Today was playing, then at the end of the commercial they show Mika in his album back pose and all I could think was, who is that guy that look like Jim Morrison?? LOL I know its weird, but that was the first thing that came to mind. Maybe its the hair. Anyway, I googled him, youtubed him, myspaced him, and itunesed him. And the rest, as they say... is ****ing amazing!
I have really been inspired by Mika and can relate to him in a way that I never have with any other musician. I'm not one of those people who are music-crazy, actually movies (independent films to be exact) are my passion, along with books. But its different with Mika. Everything he sings is so beautiful and fun, and his life story is really amazing and inspiring. Anyway, thats how I found Mika.
Now a little bit about me. I am 24 and a single mom to a gorgeous little girl named Sky. I am also in college trying to earn my degree in English. (p.s. any grammar/spelling critics can kiss my ass now! lol j/k) I'm also a journalist and a newspaper editor. My passion in life is writing and film.
