Minda is now back from her holidays! And somehow you guys have managed to get 36 pages into a new thread in the two weeks I've been gone... *starts reading super fast to catch up* Oh my... I've got some work ahead of me...

*Quickly googles meaning of word pedant whilst simultanously forfeiting all credibility as an educated teen* *Finishes googling and realises she is still lost. Decides to basically retell plot of song* It's from a song called Killer Queen and it's about a high class prostitute, who is quite a classy young girl. I don't really know why I've quoted it, I just like the song I guess. *Hopes to have salvaged some credibility and subscribes to dictionary.com's word of the day to increase her very limited vocabulary*

I'm actually a November '88 baby - so I have just under two years to destroy that tape!! And yes, with an Italian heritage, gender roles are drummed into us from an extremely young age!!

Awww that's soooo cute!! I had a 'husband' when I was three and he used to come over sometimes and our mothers would have coffee and I would cook him dinner in my cubby house... I have a home video of me in apron and kitchen gear cookig scrunched up tissues which was supposed to be a roast of some sort... my parents are threatening to bring it out at my 21st and show everyone... how embarrassing!!

First crushes are always funny and oh so embarrassing... years later we unearth some long lost (and sometimes signed) posters and photos and wonder "What the hell was I thinking?!?!" - I kinda like that feeling... reminiscing about how embarrassing past times are... like 90s fashion!! I had rainbow coloured tie died overalls and looking back they are the most awful looking piece of 'fashion' I have ever worn!!

I have the Magic Moments DVD and I too was a tad disappointed... it's hard to find new material what with the band not exactly doing much... and I don't particularly like Paul Rodgers (or whatever his name is) much, so I'm careful with what new stuff I buy too. I want Freddie back!!! *cries out miserably to nobody in particular*

I love Guitar Heroes as well but I am pretty bad at it! Singstar is more my thing - I'm waiting for a Singstar with Grace Kelly on it!! My celebrity crushes are a tad... well... odd... my first was Paul Walker... then Chris Masterson (the oldest brother on Malcolm in the Middle) then Chad Michael Murray (mmmm) and now currently Mister Mika and James Mathison... I'm yet to find a pattern between any of them

I lived in Perth for a year when I was a baby... my parents wanted to move there but we have too much family in Sydney... kinda wish we had coz its so pretty there. Oh and I love your name Jolene, reminds me of the song, which I LOVE!

Our TV is getting better, we aren't as far behind the US as we used to be but it still gets annoying at times!! It also sucks that we don't get SNL here. Sometimes it's on cable but they are usually really old reruns from when Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey used to do Weekend Update (I love Jimmy Fallon...) but yeh, our TV needs a massive overhaul! I'm watching the OC at the moment on cable and Marissa is still alive and well... gahhhh
