  1. Hmmm, I remember it more as strawberry blonde, it might just show up as ranga in photos. (Or maybe I was blinder than I thought, who knows. )
  2. I kept confusing him with Jimmy because they're both blonde. Eventually had to ask iMMa to make sure it was David before we went up to him.
  3. I'm not sure how what I said was relevant to what you wrote but maybe we should discuss this over PM instead.
  4. Technically it's a "3 pack" since he's only developing half of one. They must have melted at the gig. (Report coming later.)
  5. Yeah, but it highlighted the fact that no one else was dancing so it all looked rather... sad.
  6. Did anyone else notice that the group that shouted out had coordinated dance moves? So staged.
  7. It was simpler in my head before I tried to write it. Basically what i'm saying is that in my opinion: in this society most people assume you're cis-gendered (i.e. the gender of the body you were born in and the gender you identify with match up) and that you're exclusively (or '100%') heterosexual. If your gender and/or sexuality varies from that in any way you need to 'come out' for people to know it. So I define 'coming out' as stating that you're not necessarily a cis-gendered exclusively heterosexual person. Whether or not you add label(s) to that statement to further describe/summarise yourself doesn't matter, you've already 'come out' as not conforming to the norm of this society.
  8. Despite that I would still call it a 'coming out'. I define 'coming out' (for a cis-gendered person) as stating that they're not necessarily exclusively heterosexual (i.e. not conforming to the pervading assumption and norm of this society) whether or not they attach a recogniseable label to summarise that experience.
  9. Or, I would suggest, a more popular term: 'pansexual'. I don't agree that having labels is a bad way to be a role model. Labels work well for some people and not for others and I wouldn't classify one as superior to the other except on an individual basis. I do, however, think it's good to have a variety of role models because having one's experiences represented in the media is validating even if it's under the guise of 'celebrities' and public figures.
  10. Well, all I can say is that I hope this doesn't leave a sour taste in the mouths of the majority because it's pretty clear most people were appreciative of the presale. We asked for it and we got it. They were on sale before anyone else's and they allowed people to get their Magic Numbers. Though, I'm not sure if everyone was aware that they could get Magic Numbers because it wasn't mentioned. Anyway, I'm not very familiar with presales but overall I'd classify that as a success.
  11. FYI, I was the one who made the 'too little too late' and 'what's the point?' tags and it wasn't referring to the presale at all but about Mika's one gig in two years and how I've lost interest since then. As a mod you can see the post that I deleted in which I made that statement anyway. I deleted it, though, because I didn't want to change the tone of the RSVP thread in which others are happy into something negative. But I guess that's happened without my help anyway.
  12. I knew it! Where can I claim my prize for knowing something that was so obvious anyway?
  13. So will I. Can't wait to read all the assumptions and biphobia that will fill this thread.
  14. No, sadly I'm not back on the bandwagon yet but who knows maybe I'll become more excited closer to the date. But you're right, it's been two years and I'd go even if it's just for closure or something. I was hoping that the new album would get me excited again but it's a bit of a let down to be frank. I just hope that the gig won't be too.
