Ok, I know I haven't posted on here in ages. But I really have to say that this is my new favourite song. I feel like I've found "my" old Mika back. And he quotes my favourite author (Oscar Wilde, but I guess I'm not the first one to have noticed). I love it. Simple as that.

I'm not a fan of this song. First of all, it's in French, and even though French is my mother tongue, I don't like it when Mika sings in French. The lyrics make me cringe honestly... It's too repetitive. I like the "latino" rhythm though.

I won't write a full report, because I don't have time haha But I had a really good time at the gig! However, I think I've lost a bit of my Mika-mania... I was not as excited as I was two years ago... But Mika was truly amazing. His voice is great and gosh do I still enjoy it when he babbles!! I won't post any pics, because they're more or less all crap... I don't know why, but my camera was so slow and almost everything came out blurry... grml

Yeah, talking to the taxi driver won't be much of a problem; I'll have written the address down, and I'll just have to say: "Guten Abend, Ich möchte da fahren, bitte!". The problem will be calling the company to order the taxi mwa ha I suck at phone calling, even in French Never mind, I'll manage! Most important thing is that I'm attending the gig!!!! :D

Yeah no, in Switzerland, artists are usually not on time... The doors will open on time, but I don't expect the gig to start before around 20:30 ^^ So you don't think Mika will sing more than 2 hours then? And is there an opening act? Thanks for your answers

Ok so now I'm ready to write my review! "The Origin of Love" I kind of liked it when it first came out, but I have to admit that I'm a bit bored with it already. But I don't dislike it ^^ "Lola" This one's average. It's catchy. It's ok but not unforgettable! "Stardust" I like this one! It has a nice melody! "Make You Happy" I can't like it. I've tried, but I just can't. I can barely listen to it at all! "Underwater" As I said before, this one's my favourite. It's simply beautiful! "Overrated" I like this one! The chorus (overraaaaaaaaaaaated, overraaaaaaated) is maybe a bit too electro, but the rest is awesome! "Kids" Not as nice as "Underwater", but I like it. It's a bit mesmerizing, as is "Heroes". "Love You When I'm Drunk" Mwa ha ha this one makes me laugh, I like it! "Step With Me" This song is a bit cheesy, but I really like it! "Popular Song" I loooove it! I really don't mind Mika rapping, and to be honest, I'd rather there were more rap and less electro in this album "Emily" Well, obviously, I like it much better in English, especially since Mika declares his love to me mwa ha ha No, kidding, but seriously, it's my new phone ring tone "Heroes" See "Kids" "Celebrate" When it came out, I liked it even less than "Make You Happy", but now, it's the other way around. Still, far from liking it. On the whole, I think it's an OK album. Apart from a couple of songs which stand out, I think the two other records were better. I know, Mika has evolved, blah blah, but to me it seems his talent appears more in LICM and TBWKTM...

Ok, as I still haven't found any solution, I'm thinking about spending the night at the hostel/hotel. Has anyone found something cheap near the venue?

Hi people! I will post a review later, as I need to listen to the songs a couple of times before being able to judge them ^^ But I can already say that my favourite song is "Underwater". It gives me the chills and the melody is gorgeous. I was also really surprised (pleasantly!) to hear the cover of a Wicked song! And "Popular" is my favourite song in this musical! Oh, and I love Mika's cover too, makes me bounce! More to come...

Hey! I just wanted to say that I'm now quite excited about the album, since "The Origin of Love" sounds really promising and also, "Lola" is intriguing and I really can't wait to hear both songs on the album!! That's sounds like the Mika I love =D
