Hi Holly, sorry it's taken me awhile to get back to you. No, I have never lived in Florida just have relatives down there. Some in Lakeland but I remember when (rocks in her rocking chair) Sanibel island wasn't developed and 95 south was two lane in places and gosh I'm glad I'm not near the everglades with the 100,000's of pythons!

I enjoy reading Carl Hiassen's books cause they are always based in FL.

I think he had a really, really sad childhood. He did look like a geek back then and unfortunately, kids can be very, very cruel and probably in France they don't have "don't be a bully" classes like here in the states.

I was hoping you could give me some insight as to what area of town to hotel it in for one night. I see the show opens at 7:30 and is all ages so I'm imagining it's going to end before 11 p.m. Does the subway/trains run late? I just decided this a.m. to come to the show in Chicago as well as the one in Oakland and I haven't been to Chicago in a long, long, long, long time (probably like 46 or so). I'm just coming in for the show and leaving the next day. Gosh, I would love to stay at the same hotel as Mika... a girl can dream, right?

Hi, hey I'm wanting to come to the show in Chicago. Can you give me some tips as to whether I should fly into O'Hare or Midway? I'll do some research myself but if I come I'll be alone as well and would love to have someone to hang with.
