I've always heard the term used in the phrase "screaming like a banshee" - in other words, yelling loudly like a crazy person. So I took his post to mean that he's been working like mad to get the tour together. -
YKYAMFW you force your friend (who happens to be a casual Mika fan) to buy a very cute & Mika-esque jacket because they ran out of your size. Also YKYAMFW you have to forewarn your new roommate about your Mika obsession so she isn't freaked out by all the posters/pictures/general Mika insanity...

I went to go see The Lonely Forest there. Aaah school's halfway done, summer will be here before we know it -
Thanks! It totally happened by chance... little did I know I'd be paid to see one of my favorite bands that day!
I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity. -
I'm really crossing my fingers for a summer show, and perhaps in a small venue like the Showbox... we'll see.
And don't worry, school keeps me too busy from missing home too much, and when I come back it makes me love Seattle even more than I already do! It's always good to experience new things.

Unfortunately I did miss his October show, totally could've gone, but didn't get the ticket or the Metro schedule!
I sure hope he comes back later this year! All I know he's spending an awful long time in Europe 
Ah... that's going to be me in two years -gulps-. Or so I'd hope, I'm sure once I get out of Seattle I'll just want to go back

Aww, you missed his October show? So did I actually, so I shouldn't be saying anything.
Don't worry, I'm sure he'll come back later this year! Also I really enjoy your biography - describes me perfectly as well, since I go to school across the country and am only in our lovely hometown a few months out of the year.

One of my favorite bands! My good friend is obsessed with VW like I am with Mika (although she's seen VW live 9 times... not quite there yet with Mika ). We understand each other very well. I'm loving the new album, and am sad that I can't go to any of their upcoming shows!

You know you're a Mika fan when you only go to the gym when you know he will be on tv, so you can watch it while on the elliptical... Darn being in college and not having cable
