  1. Nearly an Oldling :wink2:

    Happy Birthday :happybday:

  2. I understand, I just wanted to point out that from conceiving an idea till it actually is a reality well it takes some time, I fell in love with the song in this version but have the sense to see it could be improved. Of course we don't have to like everything he does, that would be boring, we woudn't have the chance for conversations or posts like this for example.
  3. Love is sometimes cheesy, we just choose to be cheesy in private and not in public, intended to be a love songs lyrics are not great but they are fine, the rhymes are simple "song-long" but in the end it all works for me, maybe I'm too much of a romantic. I don't think the melody is weak but simple or classic, also some notes seemed difficult to hit and as as any new song this one needs rehearsal. A finished version, with another female voice, a new title and a clean performance may give us light to determine our minds about it for sure.
  4. Actually, I liked it very much, altough I do believe the voice combination failed a bit. For me the song is filled with the emotion a love song should have and has a simple cute melody that's been stuck in my head for a while. I liked because it transmitted me a feeling and I believe that's what music is about . I also liked the back and forth of the duet, a dialogue instead of a monologue gives the idea that it's not just loving but being loved in return...
  5. Hi, the signature is from an art from argentinian designers DGPH, the make mostly toys and tees, this is their web http://www.dgph.com.ar/

  6. I love the art in your signature, where is it from?

  7. Being part of MFC is great but I still can't get hold of the rythm, you guys are so fast. Thank you for adding me to the list btw. I believe this is agreat initiative but I kind of agree with the fact that if flyers or anykind of similar techniques will be used we need to have something to promote first, and maybe we could get our heads together and design a media plan and a unified flyer design with what we think is worth promoting, a single or ep, or well whenever something new appears. In my country I don't need permission for handing flyers, or hang poster or anything, my vandalic side was even thinking in making some iconic mika pattern and leave it just laying around as kind of an expectative campaign. I believe we should start with online promotion, making more fan videos, publishing stuff in our facebook frontpage, calling radio stations and doing all sorts of creative stuff mika related. I have an idea for a video and maybe a web page, something we could try to make viral or at least stumbleupon worthy.
  8. Uh I always wanted to be part of a secret society!! It's a genius idea, I can't do that much over here, but I'm certainly constantly triying to "spread the word" I'm convincig a friend of mine at a radio station to interview me (because of the M&G i won), hope I get it so I can talk a lot about the inmense value of his music. It'll be my little grain of sand.
  9. Ok, so finally I have something to actually review, this Nice gig was my first and the only downside is that I want more! I'm finally back home after a 14 hour flight but with lots of great memories. I couldn't queue or enter the venue till they opened the boxoffice that's where my ticket was, but luckily I was able to see everything very well because I was taller than most of the girls in front of me, so it really wasn't a problem. The opening band I think was amazing, I wish I'd understand french! And when the show began, even with the pushing and all I felt in awe, not only because I was finally there, in a place I normally only get to see trough you tube but because the scenario, the music and the performance were surreal, I love the way this gig was conceived, from the intros to the wardrobe and the best of it was the energy from the crowd. You see, over here I'm the only one I know who actually know these songs, so being in a place so huge with so many people sharing the same excitement as me, and singing all together was breathtaking. There were some girls next to me screaming a little but nothing too aweful. I specially loved the intro to Good Gone Girl, it blew my mind, she was impecable in every way!! The emotion of the crowd during Dr. John and Rain was incredibly contagious. I loved that he did Touches you, it is one of my favorites!! Yei!! The vocal performance of Happy Ending was also marvelous, but then again when isn't his voice marvelous... In all it was an spectacle well worthy of all the troubles I faced to be there, and I'll be back as soon as I get the chance, this time knowing how everything works so I can assure myself a spot in firsts rows. The concert left me in such a good mood I still look at the pictures on my camera and smile like a fool. Then after it was over I went backsatge for the meet and greet! There were other people there waiting for him, John asked us if we wanted anything signed and I gave him an Imaginarium Tour book I just bought outside, minutes later he brought it back signed. Then I sitted on the floor with my MFC friend that help me through all of this and we waited. Luckily not so long, he talked and took pictures with the people waiting for him and with a couple with the cutest little girl, really the cutest, Mika hold her for the picture with such care. And the he got to us, John told him I was there because of my video, he told me to remind him how it started, I told him and he said it was good and thanked me for making it. Then I told him where I was from and for some reason I told him I got lost in Nice and some other stuff I don't remember really, I gave him a little present he asked if he could open it soon, I said of course, it's yours now and then was picture time. It seemed like he is an expert on doing this, before I knew it I just had to smile for the picture he was already by my side posing. Then he talked to my friend and before he moved on to the next persons he shook my hand told me that it was nice meeting me, I told him that the next time he'll have to come to travel to see me because I wouldn't be back anytime soon so he said it's a deal and then waved bye bye. So he was very very nice and payed attention to my everything I said I just hope I look good in the picture, after all the sweting and jumping aroud I must have been a total mess, I haven't seen it yet because my friend took it and haven't send it to me yet. I do have a couple of videos and pics, not that great becasue my camera is kind of old but really don't know where to upload the pictures and as soon as I can I'll upload the few videos to you tube, I only got to film I see you and some intros, oh and the fake shooting to the band part, I loved how iMMa fell!! So that's my review, I'm still happy of the journey and all it implied, it was a truly amazing experience.
  10. Oh ok, it was just bad timing I guess, I would have post this sooner but was arranging travel details to make sure I was actually able to assist. But it seems I already found someone to join me, so things did work out after all.
  11. It was the We are Golden video competition and I chose Nice as the venue Seem I found someone to join me already, yei!
  12. Hey guys, I've won two tickets and a meet and greet for this gig, the prize is for me and a friend but i'm going alone, if anyone wants to join me please let me know as soon as possible, I don't want the extra ticket and else to be lost by not using it.
  13. I was about to do that, thank you!
  14. Yes, it's the most expensive prize i've ever won, but I also get to travel and relax for a few days. I need to tell them today who my guest will be...
