Jimmy came down to the Island a little while ago to do a seminar at my boyfriend's music college because we asked him to when we last saw him at a Wakey!Wakey! gig. We went out for drinks together and my little sister was so cute when he bought her a drink (At home she said to me "Jimmy is so nice, he's not like I thought he would be. And I think it is really cool that someone who is quite famous and is friends with famous people bought me a drink!" Hehe, but yeah, I love Jimmy. We always have great conversations on Twitter, and the few times I have met up with him he's always so lovely, gives everyone hugs and calls me "my love!" haha! Trying to convince him and Cat to come down for a little holiday atm.....she said she'd love to but timing isn't so great right now, which is fair enough! Anyway, LOVE JIMMY!

I am so happy you feel the same as me! Just like with Mika, when I hear Jared Leto sing, I get butterflies in my stomach, and when I saw them live, and Jared went to the small acoustic stage in the MIDDLE of the crowd, and sung 3 acoustic songs, I cried. It was so beautiful! The way that everyone in the echelon is a huge family, and everyonr respects each other is amazing, and one day MFC will be like that too. But I love the fact that despite their previous label of being a punk band, with this 3rd album, they have unleashed and unbelievable amount of fantastic musicianship (eg Alibi and 100 suns!) Gah, I just love them so much

They're going to the IOW Festival!!!! But I can't go this year coz I have exams! So I'm going to try and go see them on one of their dates Stay is definitely my fave of theirs

Love them, saw them last year in November! Was an absolutely MANIC experience, was right at the front, could hardly move, at one point I lifted my feet off the floor and because of all the people around me I was held up in mid air. Could hardly move and was hotter than ever, but the amazing way that Jared Leto () makes the audience feel like a huge family is amazing, and it was a truly inspirational concert. I am a VERY proud member of the Echelon and plan to remain one for a looooong time. It's CLOSER TO THE EDGE week this week and today's mission is to spread this song everywhere, so please spread the song and video and make people aware of it. They are a truly amazing band and deserve it, so if you aren't already a fan, give them a try and see what you think! Yes, Mika and 30STM may seem like a kinda crazy mix, but tbh I love having these two kinda different styles of music in my life, it's great So go on, spread the word! Whenever I watch this video, it just fills me with joy and makes me feel like part of a huge family. I'm proud to be a member of the Echelon! And also of the MFC!

Woah, this gig was phenomenal! Travelled down on Saturday from the IOW and listened to Mika all the way On Saturday night we went to Portreath beach with my family who live in Cornwall who we stayed with and me and Mil (PunkiePenguin) wrote in the sand "MIKA @ EDEN SESSIONS - 27th JUNE '10" I'll post a pic when I get them all on the comp. Sunday was amazing. We got there at about 12:15 and we stayed with my Grandad and Great Aunt for a bit, who also went to the gig, then at 1pm we went back to the queue and stayed there until we were allowed into the arena. Sound check was great, his family were on stage at the start and I was really excited about that too! Then the band came on and sung a couple of songs and I was singing along Then the man himself came on and we started screaming, and he turned around and smiled and waved, so sweet Anyway, I love John now coz he sorted it out so us MFC peeps with numbers could get in first, so when the gate opened me and Mil ran and got right behind the barrier in the centre, so right in front of the little platform that stuck out from the stage. Was so amazing when he came on stage, I was so close!!!! I swear in one song he looked down at me and smiled, but I'd have to check my vids for that lol, everyone prob thought he did that to them! Got so many amazing pics and vids, so I'll make sure I post them. I cried half way through rain because it was so amazing!!!! The set was gorgeous, and so were the outfits. I especially loved the flowers all around the stage. I've got one of the big sunflowers in my room now...he's touched that! After the gig we waited to meet him, and first iMMa came out and signed my deluxe edition of TBWKTM and then he came out and signed it for me, and also took the jammie dodgers I bought him 2nd time I met him, amazing again! So yeah, that's my report for now. Kinda long....but seriously, it was an amazing gig! I enjoyed it so much, and I think I'm even more in love with him now!!! :aah:

Technically he could have just said yes to shut people up....but then again, he might actually be seeing someone. Not got a clue really lol!

Today at lunch with my Mum's friends in Cornwall where I am atm who haven't seen me since I was 2...I was wearing my Mika hoodie... Sara: So is this who you're going to see at the Eden project? Me: Yes! Alec: Who's that? Me: Mika! Alec: He can't sing! Sara: Yes he can! Me: He really can!!!! Alec: Nah...you've got Frank Sinatra...then you've got "Mika." Nothing Sara: Mika....oh, he's goooorgeous though. Me: Uh, yes he is! :wub2: Sara: Oh, he's so gorgeous though! Lucky girl! Me: I know! I've met him, he was sooo nice! And then it carried on
