I'm a canadian fellow, and I'm travelling to Amsterdam in January. Would love to know the best touristic places of amsterdam, historically-wise and pop-culture wise. If there are any shows or concert or theatre that are primordial to watch also I'd be fun to know also. Will also try to learn a little bit of the language since I'm a language lover

At least on telly, BUT there still is some some NuWho coming soon as, after the War Doctor, River, Churchill, Strax, Kate and Torchwood, it is now Ten and Donna that are joining the ranges of Big Finish with their first set of audios out next month and I am really upper excited by this - maybe I am the only one here listening to Big Finish's DW audio dramas but really they are as good, and sometimes even better, than the TV show - it has nothing to do with the BBC audio dramas that were a bit childish. Really, if you don't know them yet and want some Who during the gap year, give it a try, it's awesome! (my personal big faves are the 8th Doctor stories, The Chimes of Midnight is one of the best thing the whoniverse has ever produced

About NuWho, isn't it going to be out in December 2016? It isn't that far if you think about it (hah. depending of perspective)

Interviewer: I know you are working with a producer that worked with Adele and Pharrell Williams, you never separate with that producer?
M: Uh... Now we are separating a bit. *laughs very awkwardly* Like every love stories, and to me it was not a love story at all with him, but at times, things become complicated simply because we know each other too well. So now, at the moment, we are having a break.

yeah I know obviously that's true. I mean I won't be whining about it because I can go on hours on why it didn't work out well. At least it looks good when you click on his profile on Twitter though. But let's be a little optimistic in this sea salt shall we?

He said in a Canadian interview that some songs are suitable for an orchestral arrangement,while other don't. That's why he didn't put Overrated on the album. And I agree with him.Overrated and Make You Happy are great live for hardcore fans,but not that great in a symphonic version,and for ordinary people. Anyway,he said we will get them on Como DVD,so everyone could be pleased

I kind of agree with Make You Happy, but not much with Overrated. I think Overrated was the one that sounded the most orchestral (after Heroes or HE) because it had a modernist classical vibe to it that all the other ones didn't. It sounded a little like this song by Debussy (my classical mind is calling me). Listen to the ending, it sounds like the intro of Overrated a little... And in general, the chords are very similar to Overrated (hope you understand what I mean

This spacey esthetic made this song so unique... I still think it's a shame that he didn't include it. But thank God he didn't skip Heroes 'cause now I would've been clearly mad.

I just bought the song.... oh well it's not so bad the song even if it gives me the impression that they are two different songs: one about love and one about something that I still don't understand... By the way, it's nice, the sound is catchy and if it will be released as a single it could make success.
I'm very curious to listen the Mika's version where there's no Fedez.

Sì, sono stata a Cattolica e mi è piaciuto moltissimo ascoltare Promiseland dal vivo! Ha un ritmo incredibile e Mika ha fatto ballare tutta l'arena! E' stato un concerto fantastico! Sono anche stata a Nyon in Svizzera e a Milano, in giugno, per partecipare ad altri suoi concerti e a luglio, l'ho visto per 2 giorni di seguito a Torino per i bootcamp di X-Factor9! A settembre lo rivedrò a Milano e a Firenze e a ottobre a Londra! Anche alla mia famiglia piace e ne sono felice! E' difficile far conciliare lavoro, casa, figlia e marito e... Mika, ma facendo i salti mortali, ci riesco! Anche supportata da loro! Comunque mi piacerebbe conoscerti di persona e spero che succederà presto! Ciao!
