  1. I'm biased yes, but I have to say that we did a really good job hosting this year's Eurovision. Petra and Måns did an amazing job and I'm proud of the production and the interval acts. I think that they hald a really high class even if I guess that the "documentary" only were funny to us in Sweden. The thing I was disappointed in though was the they chose to present the jury and the televoters votes differently. I don't care what five music guys in France think about the songs. It's not interesting at all. The thing that was surprising was the fact that the jury groups were mostly just as biased as the televoters, which kind of takes a way the purpose of the jury groups.

    Anyway congrats to Ukraine :)

  2. I've been so busy lately I haven't got round to listening to all the entries

    Anybody got any favourites?

So far I like France the most! But also greece, Australia, the Netherlands and Denmark :yay:

Probably some other countries to that I've forgot.

  3. The Swedish final isn't until next Saturday (12/3) but our four (!) semifinals have ended and almost all the finalist have been chosen. This is my favourite to win the final and represent Sweden in Eurovision :)

And I'm sorry Urška but the Slovenian song is quite meh :/

  4. ahaha, kladdkaka, love the name :floor:

It's really funny, at my school we have this "thing"/tradition that everyone eats cake all the time. We have all these different clubs, like the harry potter club, the hitting club etc, but the only thing they really do on the meetings is to eat cake :naughty:

Hahah :aah: But it is sticky hence the name :wink2: What's sticky in norweigan?

Oh I wish there existed clubs in the swedish school as well. It seems so awesome, and the cake is a great bonus :naughty:

  5. This is the most popular cake in Sweden. Never met anyone who deosn't like it :D It's a sticky choclate cake that's really easy and fast to make. I eat i all the time, but never get tired of it :teehee:

    Swedish chocolate mud cake (kladdkaka)

    • 100g Butter
    • 2 Eggs
    • 2,5 dl Sugar
    • 2 dl Flour
    • 3 tbsp Cacao powder
    • 1 tbs Vanilla sugar
    • A pinch of Salt

    1. Preheat the oven at 175 C.
    2. Melt the butter. Put the sugar in the butter until melted.
    3. Stir together the flour, cacao powder, vanilla sugar, salt. Add the flour mixture and eggs to the butter and sugar mixture. Stir just until combined.
    4. Pour into pie plate and bake in the oven for 17-20 minutes, or until the center has slightly set. It's supposed to be sticky.
    5. Enjoy with whipped cream!

  6. So many posts...

It will be on TV and I will try to film it :) Dont worry. Even if you would go with him there is no time for him trying anything if you want to gt out :D Does he like you?

I could come! Haha one day I will go to Sweden again and we can meet and go together :D

I showed WAG to some friends and they were kind of freaked out too.. Like "what even is that?" But they adventually admitted that the song is good. None said a word since then. ^^ Has anyone seen the 'uncensored' video? I think there was a threat about this, but I don't know where anymore. It's hilarous.

That's even cooler :teehee: People have said that they think he do but I don't know. He never said anything to me :aah:

Yes that would be awesome :D

Just for you guys to know... I might not be online for talking for a while as I am with my family. My uncle died yesterday... :(

I'm so sorry for your lose :hug:

  7. Guys I went to escape room today!!!!! This was soooooo awesome!!!! Aaaah! I'm still enthusiastic!

First they put us in a small space like an elevator and closed it, so it was suppose to be the time mashine to take us in 1634. And there were lights and smoke and it really looked like it haha :) Then the door on the other side opened and we were in the room. And we started searching around, until we found a key or two and opened some boxes and a closet. Then the camera man went out and left us alone. It was so cool! We had to solve different riddles and we did very good. We had to open 2 closets, 3 boxes, solve 5 riddles and once we were stuck with something, lady in the speakers gave us a clue. The thing was, that we already had the code, but we didnt find what it opens. Because there were no more locks in the room. And that lady thought we didnt have the code and gave us clues to get it, untill one of my friends shouted in the camera that we know the code! Then she gave us a hint where we should use it and we found it with no problem. But we lost 15 minutes looking for the stupid lock, that we didnt even know was a lock. And then we got the note that said we should knock on the door in the rhytm and we did and nothing happened, so we were really confused. And the lady said "the door is open" and we were like Wooo we made it! We tried to open it, but it didn't work. Then she said it again and we turned around, looking for another door, when we saw that the picture on the wall was actually the secret passage to ANOTHER room, now open for us. I was like... **** we're so not gonna get out. We had only 9.30 minutes left. Luckily we worked really fast and as a good team we finished another 3 riddles,a map and opened 5 locks and we found the final key in 6 minutes. So at the end, we came out 3.19 minutes before the time would run out!

I'm so hyped and will definitely search for those rooms everywhere I go now! I suggest that if you can, go and try it cause it's super fun and it's a great experience for a group of friends. It really connects you :D

That's so cool!!!  And seems like so much fun, will it be shown on tv? :D

I want to go and do that right now, I know there's a place like that ini Malmö, but no one wants to go with me :/ Or there is this guy, but I don't want to go with him because I dont want to be alone with him in a closed room :aah:

  8. Hi, this seems like a fun thread. I'm new to the MFC and would really like to get to know some people on here  :cheer:

My life has been getting so much better after I started listening to Mika. I have discovered who I am, and dare to be myself :) It's really cool to hear how he has helped you too!

Hej neighbour :bye: You'll love it here :)

Wooo! Do you like it? ;)

That's great!  Do you like it?

Yes :D I just have to put it on my phone as well :aah:

  9. Aww don't give up!!!:huglove: It will arrive! ;)

Me too.  I have a few friends who like some of Mika's songs, but they are nowhere near as crazily obsessed as I am. :teehee: Every day, I always look forward to going on MFC to chat to other people who understand how I feel. :) I want to meet you too, but you're a bit far away, as are most of my MFC friends...

I received mine after three days after buying on Amazon.com.  You could try that if you never ever get your CD.  Or email the Swedish website.

J'ai Pas Envie is a great song but I do prefer it when Mika sings in English, obviously. :mf_rosetinted:

By the way, do any of you guys hang out in the Chatroom?  I'm there almost every evening so feel free to drop in and chat to me there if you like! :wink2:

    Got my cd now :yay::D

  10. She was my favourite teacher, because she was always happy and never strict.  But I envy her so much.  Anyway, I hope you see Mika again too; maybe we should go together!

Me too!  Promiseland is my favourite, I just love that guitar! :punk: J'ai Pas Envie is my favourite French song, but I don't have it on my CD because I bought the UK version.

Me too, love the pre chorus "with the voices". Love all the different parts - it's such an interesting song!

    Actually I don't think I've heard that song :blush_aim_cl:

That sounds great! :wub2::hug: I wanna meet as much of you lovely people as I can! I only met great people here. I wish some of you guys would live closer...

I love Promiseland, too! :D So much!!! :mf_rosetinted: Hope you have the CD version soon! :)

As it seems now I don't think I'll ever get it :/ Should have bought it from Mikasounds and not this s**tty swedish site...

  11. 2 weeks??  Surely it should arrive soon, I hope so. :) I pre-ordered mine and now I have it, it is great to listen to over and over again.  Have you heard any of the new songs online?

Nope, I don't know her; I live further south near the coast.  Mika has done a few gigs in Glasgow and Edinburgh but not for years.  :( And I'm jealous of one of my school teachers who said she saw him in Glasgow in 2007.  She said that if I ever get the chance to see him live, I should go for it because he is amazing live.  I'll take her advice some time but not yet (as I said, I am too busy).

    Curse exams! :annoyed_h4h:

Hopefully it will arrive next week! *fingerscrossed*

Thr album is on repeat on spotify. Love Rio, All she wants, good guys and promiseland :wub2:

  12. I'm fine, just a bit busy with college and work experience at the moment.  I try not to let it stress me out, so listening to Mika is the perfect relaxation for me. :D

Studying takes up too much time, and so does travelling. :( But hopefully you will see him one day!  Btw, what are you studying?

It's the same here, been ignoring school for 4 weeks, devoting all my time to the iniation games for the freshmen. But now they are over so I guess I finally have to start caring about math again :aah:

I agree, Mika is really relaxing just wishing I could get my npih cd anytime soon. Ordered it 2 weeks ago :/

I just had Salt&Shake crisps but they were some kind of Aldi version but they were nice although I was considering not putting the salt on because I do rather like plain crisps.

You mean crisps without salt at all?!

  13. I think you get the complete lyrics in the deluxe version

Yes, they are all included in the booklet in the deluxe version , and there are no lyrics at all in the "normal" CD. Also the CD itself  is only two colors in the "normal" version and muticolored in the deluxe.

Not what I wanted to hear because now I have to buy the much more expansive deluxe version :aah:

  14.

I like TOOL too, but just liked the style in first two and NPIH more :) But the songs in tool are some of my favourites (stardust- specially coke studio version, and celebrate and underwater...) I love them all. It's Mika. It's actually impossible for me to say which one is better. :D

You're not alone, I like TOOL as well. I actually quite like the song Celebrate, although I know it isn't a popular opinion among Mika fans. However, I still can't decide upon which is my favourite Mika album. They're all quite different styles, it's hard to choose which I prefer. I keep changing my mind!

It's always hard to decide when it's Mika :aah: I only think tool is the best album because it has most of the songs I like the most, but I like all of them of course and how the style changes through the albums. None of them are the same therefore you always have something to listen to despite your mood.
