  1. I just saw the preview ad on Instagram for the GMA appearance. So excited to see it. It's amazing exposure for. I'll even get up early to watch! I hope everyone there has a wonderful time and he makes tons of new fans!
  2. Four out of five stars seems to be the prevailing opinion, doesn't it? Thanks for posting, Catherine. All this positive press is wonderful. The Milwaukee Journal has a column published every Tuesday where they give quick reviews of new releases. I was outraged this week when NPIH was not included!
  3. This is a very nice review, but I don't like the Pop Fop part. And why do they always have to mention the openly gay thing? Is it really that important?
  4. Mel is the standard of a perfect dog in our house. Our dog, Cota, also a Golden Retriever, doesn't even like to wear a collar. We are often saying to her, "I bet Mel wouldn't act like this!"
  5. LOVE! It's bright and colorful and happy, complete with the wonky dancing that is so endearing. I wasn't expecting anything deep, considering the nature of the song. I like the simple DIY feel of the video. Yeah, the product placement was jarring, but sort of a necessary evil to get the bills paid. I'm ok with the suits. I find them so original, and they are a little tight, but they give his body a lovely line. Between the beauty and emotion that is The Last Party it's all great
  6. I don't know if this really counts, but the other day we were eating lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, and they have one of those juke boxes that show a picture of the artist they are playing, and between songs they would scroll through what they called Top Plays, and show a bunch of artists and their songs. I was paying no attention to this, really, when my daughter all of a sudden said, "Mom, I just saw Mika on the jukebox! " She said it was the cover art for Grace Kelly. I kept watching the screen for the rest of the meal, but they never showed it again. Maybe next time I'll have to actually play the song.
  7. There's an ad running in the US advertising David Letterman's show's last season on the air, and Celebrate is playing in the background. These aren't Mika songs, but Mikaesque-today on the radio, I heard Barbie Girl, which me think of Mika on The Voice, and then right after that, I Just Died in Your Arms, which made me think about Relax.
  8. This is amazing news! I love the cover. It's so cheery, with all my favorite colors. Can't wait to hear the songs. Some of the titles are very intriguing. All I can think of when I see Rio, though, is Duran Duran, my favorite, back in the day.
  9. This is for sure an ear worm, but in a good way. Not his greatest, but VERY radio friendly. FIngers crossed that it will be a big hit.
  10. Well, this is nice news to awake to on a Monday morning! The song seems very sunny and playful. Makes me happy. And the artwork is so cheerful and cute as well. I'm so excited!
  11. That's even better! So happy and proud of him!
  12. I'm so happy that the show turned out to be such a success! It sounds like it was truly unique and special. I felt tingly just reading about it. Have fun at the next shows, everyone. We are all lucky to be part of such a cool fandom. The flowers were gorgeous. So sweet that Mika took the time to acknowledge them, and he seemed delighted with them! Thanks for the reports, all,!
  13. Awww, that's so sweet. There's nothing like coming home to your pet. I'm glad to see this also, because our Golden Retriever is five months old, and loves to take naps with her head on our legs just like Mel is doing. I was worried she might stop doing that when she's not a puppy anymore. I'm glad to see Mel is still doing it. They both look so happy.
