I do not know what to do now:crybaby:My husband saw that the concert would be a joint one with a rapper and says that the audience that comes to such singers is very different from Mika's audience. And that it could be dangerous there. Especially considering that this is Lyon😱

And he says that it is unknown how long Mika's performance will be and he does not want to travel 4 hours for 30 minutes of the concert. I do not know how to persuade him.🤔😒

I guess the rapper will be the first on stage and his fans will probably leave after his show.

If you're fighting for first rows with them it may be  dangerous , but if you're staying a bit apart waiting for Mika's set I think it should be ok

There were issues with  Nekfeu at the Fnac live in Paris back in 2015 (or 2014) but it was a free open gig with no security check . As soon as Nekfeu left it was ok .

A couple of fans had a fight with Big Flo et Oli's fans at a festival .Seems that they were drunk ......just like a big part of the crowd :naughty:

I survived on both occasions , staying  far away in Paris and just a bit in Bobital .

This may not be the spot for this question but it is setlist related, just not Mikas own songs lol.

can someone make a list of the songs that are played before the support act and show start? I wanted to make a list, but my shazam doesn’t work anymore because my mic is kinda dead, so Siri doesn’t hear me when I ask her something.. :naughty: She must hate me.

But I loved the list and it’ll be a perfect match with the concert setlist for a fun listen session. We don’t have many gigs left, so I’m begging haha

I don't know if the "setlist" was the same in every country , but for the French venues , I'm sure of these 2 ones :

There was a coldplay song as well , but can't remember which one

  3. The UK tour may have a partnership with the French tourism office and festivals .....:naughty:

Btw was the new album available at the merch in the concerts where he didn't sing any new song ?

Maybe he prefers that people discover the new songs without him :teehee:

More seriously .....maybe the people who asked him for shows in these countries didn't realised first that it was to promote a French album and asked him afterwards to adjust the playlist ?

I wonder if maybe it really is like @krysady says and he's exhausted from the long tour? He played Rain and Popular song at some of the other gigs - he could have played those instead, if he didn't want to sing in French, but he didn't. Maybe he realized that a setlist of 16 or 17 songs is his limit. :dunno: I guess if it's enough for the audience in the venue, he doesn't feel like he has to do more than necessary.

But it doesn't explain why  EMD instead of any new song  :dunno:

While it's somehow understandable about the French songs being left out for UK, ( yet I don't get why EMD it's still there, he has way more good French songs to insert into the setlist)

While he has to sing EMD in France and Belgium because it was very popular , I don't get what he doesn't sing " C'est la vie" in other countries instead .

And he was used to sing BBB as well in the past , so I think there is some place for another new song

Not that I want to promote my own langage  .........but in some interview he said that he was very happy that other countries asked him for some dates even if it was a tour made for French speaking people.

So why did he change his mind ??????:dunno:

It's just the center part close to the stage. At least your ears don't hurt so much as during festivals.

Well. Maybe except Grenoble where the venue looks like not the best for gigs.

I've never been at the center. And I've been in Grenoble for the heaven tour, the sound was ok:dunno:

When it's only piano or guitar, it's OK, but imo drums and bass are too loud

Depending where was standing the person recording the video.

When you are at the first row in the center, sound is very poor. You almost don't hear Mika. I think it's a sort of dead zone between speakers.

When you are more in the back the sound is correct.

I was on the stages end both in Lille and Tours, the sound was poor too. In Nancy and Luxembourg I was further, even behind the baffle, it was better but still not very good. Let's see tonight if angels will get a better sound quality

  8. If it's technicaly possible , it may be easier for people to navigate if you change the place of the topics and "promote" the ones who are the most interresting depending of mika's activity

I mean , the concerts topics at the top of the list when he's on tour , the media ones when he's doing a tv  show , the discussions about lyrics when an album is out and so on ......

And maybe change some topics tittle to make them  more intuitive

It probably was my fault because I'm mainly using the "unread content" button  ......... but I remember at the beginning I didn't get the difference of the concerts topics 'before the show" and " review" .

It also could be more friendly to give a good spot to the presentation topics  ? where people could ask how to find their way

Hmm, interesting... he said in Luxemburg that all of what he keeps saying re. "mean lovesongs are the real lovesongs because most lovesongs are about breakups or imaginary loves" is just for trying to explain to Andy why he sings this song in front of thousands of people he doesn't know. Tbh, I was surprised he put it on the setlist in the first place, as Andy didn't seem too happy about it. Maybe he sees it differently now? Or maybe he just wants to test which of the French songs his fans would miss the least? 😅

Did he sing another song instead of it, for example Billy Brown again? Or was it just 18 songs then?

Or he finaly did his speech to Andy in Paris ? Then ,there is no need to pratice it anymore :naughty:

Btw some people were expecting him a declaration during the show , but he NEVER said that he would do it publicaly :wink2:

I am totally shocked by the changes made to the set list! Pleasantly surprised at the addition of Origin of Love and Good Guys, sort of sad to sacrifice C'est la vie and Apocalypse Calypso and Jane Birkin for Lollipop  (of all things!), Popular and Rain. Happy enough to hear Good Guys again, and I'm really glad Bougez has remained. Wonder if those are all the changes or if it will be tweaked again for the UK...

Quite surprising that he cut " Apocalypse Calypso" as it's the tour's tittle

This is very sad, 30 Secondes was one of the most beautiful moments during the shows

And Luxemburg it is very francophone, one of their official language it's French.

I suppose he'll cut more than one french song in Amsterdam , Berlin and UK.

Could be that he's testing step by step (or song by song) in multilinguage countries  ?

So let's see what the setlist will be in Geneva and Bruxelles :wink2:

Yes, I also was sad that he skipped 30 Secondes for Billy Brown. I mean, I expected him to do BB at the London show, as it was so well received there the last time... but 30 Secondes was my fave of the French songs he played, very sad to think that I might not hear it live again. :tears:

They also rehearsed Popular Song and Lollipop at the soundcheck ... 2 more songs that I've heard live often enough and don't miss at all. 🙈

I guess he'll keep "bougez" , "Apocalypse calypso" and "C'est la vie" for the end of the tour.

I easily can imagine that he could sing lollipop instead of "sweety banana" :naughty:

  12. Here is the point of view from the (very busy ) emergency exit.

Not the best spot for good pictures , but the sound was better than anywhere else.

BTW, I don't know if the equipment or the sound's ingenior have changed...... but I (and many people) feel like the sound 's quality is not as good as it used to be :dunno:

Usually they cut the talking - even for the Mika loves Paris DVD they did that. The Bercy show of the Revelation Tour 2019 was also on TV, not sure if they cut any songs... you can compare it here if you have time:

    TV recording:

Recording of the full show by Celine:

For sure they did cut the "santa-claus" intro of Lollipop but don't remember if the song itself was missing
