Hi everyone !! I finally decided to join you My name is Julie, I'm 23 and I'm from the South of France (sun, beach, only good stuff ) I've been visiting this forum from time to time the past 7 years, but never actually dared to register. Now it's done ! Some of you may know me on Twitter (@GoodGoneJu) or on the french forum MikaFrance (Julie34). I discovered Mika 7 years ago. I remember that I liked his song, I had bought Life in cartoon motion, but I wasn't a fan yet. Then, during family vacation, I saw that he was touring in La Rochelle, at the Francofolies festival. My parents thought it was a good idea to buy tickets for my sister and me. And ... it was a real musical "coup de foudre" I loved everyting about the show : his voice, his energy, the symbiosis between him and the fans, all the songs he sang that I knew, but that he sang in a way that I rediscovered each and everyone one of them and literally fell in love. I never have felt anything like this before, it wasn't my first concert but I felt "sur un petit nuage" a few days after the show. I've been following Mika ever since. I made a "pause" from 2010 to 2012, I had too much work during my studies and had no time to follow the news ect. I regret each and every day of this pause, because now I know all the things that I missed I've been to 3 other Mika shows : Les Déferlantes festival in Argeles (2012), in Marseille for the TOOL tour (18 nov 2012) and the Aluna Festival in Ruoms (15.06.2013) ! I've never met him in person, but I hope that I'll get a chance for the next shows Can't wait for the new tour dates to be annonced I look forward to meet other French fans, recognize those I already know, and of course meet some international fans !! :thumb_yello: Thanks for reading my presentation, see you later on the other topics
