  3. Hi, I'm a new here on MFC, and also a new fan of MIKA. It's been a week since I discovered MIKA on Instagram. Since I discovered more about MIKA and his work I'm overwhelmed by how beautiful his music is and how he spread so much love though his music. I really think that MIKA is a wonderful person and singer.

(Sorry for my bad english, I'm Brazilian)

Hi Nanda, welcome to the MFC :bye:

You can discover more about Mika and his music through all the threads in the forums, there are lots of info there!

If you need some help, feel free to ask us :)

    Have fun :D

  4. Hi all, have a great day!!

    Finally I'm here :)

I'm a psychiatry trainee from Malaysia. I first heard Mika's songs since I was in my first or second year in medical school (which was 10 years ago). My friend first introduced "Lollipop" to me as she found it funny and catchy. I was then amazed by " Happy Ending", and get addicted to "Relax". I spent whole day listening to "Relax" and not doing anything literally.

Mika is truly a gifted musician, someone who continuously inspiring people and spreading love all around the world. It's amazing to feel the energy flowing and penetrating all around the world. His music and talent is incredibly amazing. Most importantly, he has a big heart with no boundary, no limitations.

Being a psychiatry trainee, I'm seeing people from different society, cultural background, variety of races, speaking different languages... and our job is to listen without being judgmental, to understand from their point of view, and give an objective analysis and treatment..I always believe that being non-judgmental is the prerequisite for loving each other... we first need to be non-judgmental before listening to others...and Mika definitely played a big role here, influencing me to be able to see things with a wider scope (perhaps no limitation :P),  to be able to face the ever changing challenges everyday. :)

p/s: I always wish to watch his concert..it would be great if I can watch it in Italy...wish to visit Rome and Florence for the second time...lovely place....

    Have a nice day everyone..

    Lotsa Love

    Nie

Hi Nie, nice to meet you and welcome to the MFC!  :bye:

I really enjoyed reading your introduction, very very interesting!! Thanks for sharing your story with us  :)

Have fun here! See you around :D

Buon proseguimento a tutti!

Ciao Francesca, benvenuta nel MFC! :D

  6. Bonjour,

Amuse-toi bien ici!! See you around :D

  7. Hello but then where tickets are bought ticketone? Right?

E gli skipass a cosa servono?

    And skipasses what they do?

As far as I understood the ski pass works for both, if you buy it you already have the ticket for the gig!

You can find it here: http://www.verbier.ch/fr/liste-vel-forfait-ski/?page=&cat_id=22&reset=&tri=1027&respp=&val_13=&val_148=&val_259=&val_17=&submit-recherche=Chercher but they said it's better to wait a bit, for it to become cheaper  :)

  8. Hello everyone!

First of all, I want to say happy 10th anniversary to you all  :happybday: !

My name’s Sirielle and I’m new on MFC. I’m half Italian :italia:  and half French :france: , so I will write this in English, sorry for any mistake :sorry: !

I hesitated long time before getting an MFC account for some reasons: the first, I’m a bit asocial (sorry); the second is that my participation could only be symbolic (I don’t think I would ever be able to REALLY help and go to concerts/events); finally, I read about problems and stuff.

Despite all, I decided to join because I also read wonderful things you’ve done, in addition to beautiful stories of friendship that you’ve created; so, even if only virtually, I wanted to be part of that too! So why not join the anniversary’s day?

I know this is a horrible presentation, sorry! Perhaps it’s better if I tell you how I become a fan!

I already knew some of Mika’s songs (how could I NOT know Grace Kelly, Love Today, etc.?), but I discovered his “personality” thanks to my grandma.

As I already said, I’m half French and last year I went in France with Erasmus project; I was at my grandma’s house (it was September 2015) and we watched together a TV program, that’s called “Vivement Dimanche”, with Mika as guest. How a surprise for me when he began to speak Frencheek!9.gif ! Then my grandma (and the TV program too, but you know grannies…) told me his story and that’s how I become interested in his work and his world!

After becoming “Mikaddicted”, I went at Bercy for the “Mika © Paris” concert with a Canadian friend: it was my very first concert and it was AMAZING :woot_jump:  ! I was very excited and, as some fans were putting on make up, I wanted too: so I asked it to some Italians fans (hi, it was me!) despite my tendency of being alone and not talk to strangers.

I wanted to buy something from the store but I was scared to lose my place in the queue (and I didn’t know where and if there was one   ); I REALLY wanted to wait for Mika after the concert too, but I didn’t know where to go, my friend wanted to leave and I hadn’t slept for 2 days, so no Mika! :bed:

Now I don’t know how to end this presentation, I hope that this experience with you could help open my mind and my heart too!  :group_hug:

Hello Sirielle, nice to meet you :D

Wow that's a very beautiful story, how you started getting to know him thanks to your grandma and your Bercy adventure

Hope you're gonna have a lot of fun here, everyone's really nice so I'm sure you're gonna meet many friends

See you around and, of course,  :welcomeani:

  9. Hello everybody  :)

My name is Elisa and I come from the south of Italy (Catania) but I now live in the north (Genoa).

I discovered the MFC few months ago and I've been reading several threads since then, but in New Year's Eve I decided to join, so here I am writing my 1st post overcoming my shyness.

I have always loved to hear Mika's music but it's in the last 2 or 3 years that I've became curious about his story and  his music (I only knew the most popular songs then), and I enjoyed myself getting to know all those things.

I'm sure I'll enjoy the MFC too.  :)

Ciao Elisa, nice to meet you and welcome!  :bye:

    Have fun here :D

  10.

Hello, my name is Chiara and I live in Bari (Italy).
I follow Mika since 2008 and he has literally saved my life.
My life and the bond that I have with Mika is very complicated (but very informative), and if you care to know I'll I can write (in Italian) in the comments;)

I follow him from almost nine years but I managed to see him only this year (twice) and you can understand what a thrill for me was when I saw him sing at the Petruzzelli theater in Bari the first time.

My hobby is photography and I leave you a photo I took at Molfetta concert on June 24 (the second time I saw Mika).

I hope to tie much with you and to meet you as soon as possible to enter me too in this family <3

P.S.: Sorry for my English AHAHAHAHAHAH

Ciao Chiara, welcome to the MFC  :bye:

Hope you're gonna have a lot of fun here :D

  13. Hi everybody,

    my name is Luciana.

I'm 52 years old and I live In Italy.

I'm very happy to be here and I hope to meet some of you at the next Mika gig.

P.s. sorry for my terrible English .. ^_^

    Ciao Luciana, benvenuta! :D

Ci vediamo presto a Firenze allora, manca poco

  14. Hi,

I am already a member since February and try to be more active here now. However, I just recognised that I never introduced myself and so, finally, here is my introduction:

I am 19 years old and from north Germany, but I live (until July 2017) near London and work as an aupair.

The first time I heard music by Mika was probably around 2007. It was the time as "Relax take it easy" were everywhere and I remember that we heard it sometimes in the bus on our way to school. But I never knew who sang it and, for my defence, I was in elementary school and hadn't any interest in music at that point. Therefore it's quite unusual for me to remember a specific song, yet for any reason it sticked in my mind.

Than I came across him in the internet in autumn 2014, as I googled...somebody else with the same name... I saw some concert and music videos, some interviews, did a lot of research et cetera et cetera, because I liked him and his music. That's how my obsession started and now I am really addicted to his music.

By the way: I read about the planning for the 10th anniversary, I mean the poll, but the thread was already closed as I spotted it and I can't find a new one. Is there a new one? If there is something in London, I' d really like to try to join it, even though I am just a member since February.

Hi Amelia, nice to meet you and welcome :D

Hope you're gonna have fun here!
