A compilation of Mika's writings for XL Repubblica

Hi everybody,

in my previous post we were talking about Mika's articles written for XL Repubblica.

I wanted to put them together to read as a book. As @Ellys had the same idea, she compiled them in an PDF file to print them.

I am sharing it with you as I hope there are more fans (older and newbies) willing to read Mika's thoughts and opinions.

23 articles : 16 in English and 7 in Italian.

If we find some more or translations from Italian into English we will update the file.

Let's consider this compilation as Mika's unreleased book  Better this than nothing

Hi guys! These are my designs for the competition. I managed to get to the another stage what is incredible! I'm already happy that I got so far but if you like my art works just 'like' the pictures on MIKA fb page

At last I recorded a cover that I can present you.

It was hard because the app StarMaker was not working well on my mobile. And I think my built-in mic is not good for it.

So I used a separated mic and a music played from speakers.

It sounds rather a duo than a karaoke version, but it sounds much better than via StarMaker.

This is "Over My Sholder" song.

Today I got the idea to create this kind of fan art... Well, it's not perfect, I wasn't even sure if I should share it here to be honest. Maybe I'll try again later to make a better version. But it's inspired by the song Hurts. It reminds me of the time when I was younger and most of my schoolmates hated me for no reason. They made fun of me and I was too shy to defend myself. They called me weird, stupid etc. and even though I didn't believe them, it felt exactly like this...like having these words pinned into the heart with knives.

I'm not even sure if anybody else can relate this to the song because it's quite personal. However, there's no other place to post it than here...

Thank you @sara09 for you help with italian, aujourd'hui on a présenté le projet, on a parlé quelques minutes puis on a diffusé la vidéo de CasaMIKA, "madama butterfly", it lasts for about 10 min, personne n'a osé interrompre ou d’arrêter la vidéo même si on a dépassé le temps prévu tellement c’était beau.

et la réaction de notre prof d’italien, une fois il a vu MIKA il l'a reconnu immédiatement, il a demandé à la classe s’ils le connaissent ,apparemment non, on est que 10 en cours d'italien, puis il l'a présenté, il a dit que "MIKA parle parfaitement l’italien et qu'il fait the voice en français et la même émission en Italie en italien".

MIKA nous a sauvé, car on n'a pas vraiment bossé pour le projet mais "Madame butterfly était  juste un moment sublime!!!!!! et on a terminé la présentation sous les applaudissement de tout le monde.

j'étais contente de regarder MIKA en classe et de partager ce moment.
