    Thanks for your story.

    You gave me courage to share mine.

     

    I also had a "problem" in my infancy and adolescence: bullying.

    My "friends" bullied me because of various reasons: because I was overweight, because I was the good girl, and probably there are other reasons I don't even know.

     

    In the darkest time, like you, I thought about suicide but I didn't kill myself because, even if I was  depressed, I thought I would have hurt my family. In fact, in contrast to what you say, I never shared anything about those moment I was bullied.

    As I said in my introduction post I am a bit shy, and I became even more after what happened in my past. in fact I have no real friend because I don't trust anybody, not because I don't want but because I'm not able to trust anyone new in my life. 

    I've always loved Mika's music but I now love it even more because of the song "Hurts", because he says a major truth about life "nothing's only words, that's how hearts get hurt". 

    His music gave me strength because I understood that I'm not the only one that suffered and also that it's time to move on, I can't stay stuck in my old life and think about the past.

    I decided to move on, trying to be more friendly with people, be more social, that's also  why I joined the MFC.

     

    We should remember that we can be what we want, no matter what people think about us.

    ciao! Ho notato che nel sito ci sono tantissimi forum e thread per tutti i gusti.. Siccome non sono ancora esperta, ma spero di orientarmi il più presto possibile, vi chiedo se ci sono delle modalità per ricevere notifiche quando qualcuno scrive qualcosa o se bisogna ogni volta aprire il sito e controllare?  ;)

    In ogni caso sono molto contenta di essermi finalmente iscritta e avere la possibilità di condividere le stesse passioni  :thumb_yello:

    In alto a destra sta scritto "follow this topic". Se clicchi li, ti manderà un'email appena qualcuno scrive qualcosa in quel thread  :thumb_yello:

    I have a dream that has not yet realized (since I have not had the pleasure of meeting Mika face to face): I would like to get a tattoo on the skin the phrase "believe in yourself", however, with his handwriting.
    As soon as I will get to write this sentence from him I will do it!

    Hello everyone!
    I have already presented here recently but I did not say something fundamental about me that, now that I've "known" better there, I want to tell you why Mika, when I was little, has literally saved my life.

    I, like Mika, am dyslexic. Until some time ago I could not tell so many people in fact knew this thing just my family and my best friend.

     

    In late 2006 I discovered to be dyslexic; beginning has not changed my life this news but then I began to cause problems.
    In 2007, my "friends" began to make fun of me for my "problem" and more time passed and the injuries became heavy. At one point I was so bad he was going through in my head the decision to kill me but of course I did not tell anyone.

     

    During the first months of 2008, my speech therapist realized that I was mentally hurt and told me that, in the world, there are many famous people who are dyslexic. He gave some examples and then I pronounced the name of a Lebanese singer dyslexic known around the world: MIKA.
    I come home and I began to hear the songs of this singer and was able to make me feel better day after day, month after month and year after year.
    Also reading his past and seeing the artist who was, I said to myself: if he is dyslexic, managed to tackle head-on all obstacles on its way and is now one of the most famous pop stars in the world, even I can follow my dreams caring about the opinions of others.

    He gave me the strength to get up and chase my dreams.

     

    AND I AM HERE TODAY TO WRITE THIS POST ON THE FAN CLUB OF MY IDOL TO PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING AND THAT YOU DO NOT would enable NEVER DO THAT 'HAVE PEOPLE IN MY PAST.

    Ciao a tutti/e, anch'io sono "nuova" , seguo Mika da sempre ma non avevo pensato,stupidamente, di cercare il fan club, Spero avremo occasione di conoscerci a qualche concerto quest'anno.....perché ci saranno ,vero? Comunque è un piacere essere qui! Amelia

    Ciao Pina ed Amelie, benvenute nel MFC ma soprattutto nel thread italiano ;)

     

    Come già detto da Gabri Mika quest'anno non farà il tour (ci aveva abituate troppo bene) ma comunque noi ci possiamo incontrare grazie a raduno o incontri oer conoscerci! Io non vedo l'ora  :hug:

    Alllloooooora vi spiego :D

    Domani è il giorno esatto dell'anniversario e cominceremo a festeggiare online, mentre i party si terranno più in là nell'anno, visto che abbiamo appena avuto quello di Firenze.

    A brevissimo verrà aperto un thread dove ne parleremo e cominceremo a pianificare, ma posso anticiparvi che ci sarà più di un raduno  :)

    Scusatemi se scrivo troppo qui però questo 2017 mi sta portando tantissime idee da proporle e non so in che sezione del MFC dovrei scriverle quindi scrivo qui e poi se l'idea vi piace la scrivo nel thread giusto.

     

    In realtà le idee sono due e riguardano tutte e due il 10° anniversario del MFC.

    1) Per festeggiare i 10 anni potremmo mettere come immagine del profilo dei nostri social l'immagine del cuore con la M al centro (che ormai è il simbolo di Mika) e scrivere nella descrizione cosa è per noi Mika e cosa ha fatto per noi in questi 10 anni.

     

    2) Potremmo inoltre lanciare un hashtag del tipo #MikaFC's10thAnniversary o qualcosa del genere ed impegnarci a farlo entrare in tendenza in modo tale che Mika possa vederlo  :wink2:
