  1. Looking through my videos again and I've found this! It was just hilarious, I have to share it with you! This made my day 😂 He was talking about listening to BBC radio four and getting inspired and then: 20200210_223731_001.mp4 He pretended to present a weather forecast after it and then transitioned to Love Today! My mom kinda mockingly asked my if I cried during this concert and I told her that I almost did... out of laughter! 😜
  2. Oh, so many emotions after this gig! Firt of all I was in the first row, right in front of his piano and I had an amazing view! I can't believe he was so close to me and I could see every detail on his face! In Brussels I saw only a silhuette It was worth waiting 9 hours, especially inside such a nice venue! The gig started a little bit later, his supporting act came late and said that she has just arrived here after 2 days of travelling. She was really nice and even sung a Whitney Houston song Finally, Mika came a little after 9PM. After Ice Cream he admitted that he was late (not surprised, he's Lebanese) and said something about a hurricane that was here and flying with Austrian pilots who were terrified ,which was a bad sign. I think he also arrived shortly before a show, but he said he landed at 10(!)PM in Utrecht and well- it wasn't even 10 yet and there is no airport here, poor Mika, so confused! 😂 I hink he corrected that it was Rotterdam later... When he noticed little's girl sign that her name is Paloma and started to talk about his sister... I didn't want to record it, cause it was very intimate and I wanted to show respect and just listen to it, especially as he shared details about it, like this neighbour who run out with a baseball stick cause he though it was a burglar and then held her up... It was really touching, the way he talks about his sister with so much love and admiration ❤ Overall, he did no soundcheck, said he doesn't have his setlist He even told us that we get to pick a song! Eventually he couldn't hear anything out of our screams and noticed that one lady raised her hand, so he asked her and she chose Paloma, and that's when he started talking about this little girl. I am very happy he sang Blue, Sanremo and Popular Song, I've never heard them live! So here are few special moments that I captured! Funny scene before Tiny Love, when people shouted that they couldn't see him behind his piano so he decided to move it... or at least tried. Enjoy: 20200210_214034_001.mp4 Intro to Big Girl & singing from the balcony: 20200210_213250_001.mp4 20200210_213535.mp4 Asolutely hillarious story about Normal Jack hiding a lollipop... well, you have to hear and see where: 20200210_221401_001.mp4 Talking before Blue and a part of him singing it, light gets realy bad but you can listen to it: 20200210_215243.mp4 And a little bit of Grace Kelly! 20200210_225401_001.mp4
  3. Haha me too! So I guess his show was too good Anyway, where did you buy your tickets? Through a link on Mika's page? Went there but I see no options for tickets (as in standing or seated places on the balcony) and it's in Dutch...
  4. Does anyone know where to find the seating plan? I am actually considering buying a ticket (I saw him for the first time in Brussels on Saturday and I just can't get over it ) It seems to me there are two categories: general admission and pista (slightly more expensive) Does anyone know the difference, by any chance? I would love to have the possibility to see him well, as I was quite far before.
  5. Now I've just watched another video of it and I realised that at one moment Mika said "that's my boy" at someone from his band (probably). That's so sweet! You can see it around 5:31
  6. I still can't believe that it happened! So many emotions and amazing memories! It was my very first time so I cannot really compare it to anything. All I can say is that I've obviously watched many videos from his concerts so I thought I kinda knew what is ahead of me. Yet, this concert, it felt so different- I cannot properly explain, it truly felt special and turned out to be way better than I expected (and I expected it to be brilliant, so there's that!). I could really feel great energy coming from everywhere, from Mika and from the crowd! If this isn't what love looks and feels like, I don't know what does! I've listed few of my highlights, to keep them deeply in my heart, here they are: - turning off the lights for Love Today so we can dance like crazy and people around us won't see -a beautiful, beautiful tribute to his mum, before singing Elle Me Dit -the one time I was so close to having tears in my eyes at the beginning of Tiny Love but Mika said "f*ck how it's beautiful" seeing lights behind him and I just laughed -jumping on his piano on the way to the end of the stage and back, many times -letting this guy play Underwater for him -and that false goodbye before coming back with Grace Kelly and balloons (also, does anyone remember which song was he singing then? I mean just before he "left") Not to even mention Happy Ending off-mic, absolutely heart-warming performance of Paloma and then adding "I still thank God that you found me" at the end of Origin Of Love - I cannot find the words to describe how it made me feel. I really loved the show because some parts were really spectacular and well-prepared, like the whole piano thing, his dancing with Max, the way he was acting with light, the whole colour scheme. And some part were totally not planned and spontaneous. So his was a big big show but at the same time he was able to sit on the piano and tell us about his love for his mum. And I think it's this mix what made it feel so real, just like in life- there's a little bit of everything. But to be completely honest, I have one huge problem with all of that. I got addicted and need to see him again! I'm feeling sick, I've got to medicate myself!
