  1. I should have spent the lockdown learning French and not Spanish...
  2. I think I'm back in the line but logged out, I hope it doesn't matter...
  3. I've been there too but the site logged me out and now I can't log in because it keeps refreshing the page before I can fill my password... I guess today is not my day to get the tickets.
  4. Thanks but I already made an account last week, that's not the problem. But many people already tried to simulate a subscription and searched for concerts but it doesn't work for me.
  5. Somehow, the website still doesn't work for me... When I log in and try to click on the bottom with subscription options, I get pages like this: Idk if it doesn't work only because it's too early or if it hates me... The French version is the same:
  6. Recently I discovered this page thanks to my Spanish classes, it's called Lyrics Training and you can practice different languages by filling song lyrics while listening to the music video. I use it for Spanish but today I discovered there are also some songs by Mika... I guess it would be a good tool for him to revise his own lyrics before the next tour (without the audio of course). :teehee:

  7. MIka is not really there but I still thought I could post it here...
  8. That's exactly what I wrote yesterday, the website is so confusing...
  9. I don't know if anybody can answer my question but I'll try anyway – I saw on the website that there's a youth subscription option. I'm not sure if it's a completely different subscription programme with cheaper, more limited choice of seats or just a discounted version of the regular one. But apparently it also contains priority booking. I have to say that I'm really confused by their website because for example, on one page there's the description with "two or more concerts or shows" you have to choose but then if you click on the "start +2 subscription" button, you suddenly see that you have to choose between 3 and 5 concerts (and the name changes to "+3 subscription" which wasn't even an option before)... (Also it doesn't help that parts of the page are still in French even though I choosed the English version but to be honest, I wouldn't expect otherwise. )
  10. I have the same question because with all these restrictions, you can't be sure if it will be possible to travel to France by October so if the tickets are non-transferable, I don't know if I can take the risk to buy them...
  11. Exactly! It would change the dynamic and style of the song for me. Me too, I'd love an official studio version. And since he didn't release the song with the other two from the gig (the two with Danna Paola), I was hoping he has other plans with it because he has to know how much people appreciated that version and apparently he enjoyed the collab too. So we'll see, who knows, I still have hope.
  12. I loved the I Love Beirut version of Promiseland and even though I usually don't like Mika's collabs, I actually prefer this one to the solo version. But somehow with that long instrumental part, I don't know if I would enjoy it as much in symphonic... Maybe I would, who knows. With Blue, I know what you mean, it is a really stripped-down song but I still can imagine a subtle symphonic version. But what I love about symphonic versions is the fact that it makes me rediscover some songs I didn't like as much in the studio version. So I guess that in the end my favourite songs could be even some titles I wouldn't even think about. That's the wonderful thing about new arrangements, they can always surprise you in a way you couldn't imagine before.
  13. But there's still the rule for the subscribers that you have to buy tickets for at least two different concerts, no? Unfortunately, even if I choose English for the web page, some descriptions are in French so I'm a bit lost there...
  14. Also Promiseland is an interesting choice, even though It's quite difficult for me to imagine the symphonic version, could be interesting but I'm not sure if I'd like it (at least as much as the other songs, of course it would be still great to hear it )...
  15. In no particular order: Heroes (my favourite song from Sinfonia Pop) Origin Of Love (also a favourite ) Boum Boum Boum (I don't really like the studio version but I ADORE the symphonic one or even other live versions of the song) Good Guys Happy Ending Over My Shoulder Last Party Toy Boy Any Other World Hurts (a girl can dream ) Pick Up Off The Floor (another rather unrealistic one) Sanremo (not quite sure if it's a suitable song for a symphonic arrangement but I'd love to hear it) Tiny Love Blue I Went To Hell Last Night Dear Jealousy Tomorrow maybe even Ice Cream (It's really difficult to choose from MNIHM especially after Versailles as the new classical arrangements of songs like Ice Cream or Tomorrow were better than I would expected) + Relax, GK and Love Today won't miss (even though I'd prefer newer songs for my "dream setlist")
  16. Bad news: My old PC monitor stopped working today. :crybaby:

Good news: Even though the shops are still closed, I managed to order a new one and got it immediately and it's even bigger so I can see Mika in higher resolution now! :biggrin2:

      :yay: for high resolution

    2. Starlight

      Starlight

That's a good example for the fact that bad things can also have a good part. :naughty:

  17. I don't know the rules in Italy but for example here you can only wear either a respirator (it's even obligatory inside) or a surgical/disposable mask (only outside). At the beginning we used to wear cloth face masks too but not anymore.
  18. Yes, of course, that's why I thought that these two measures would be enough and they could fill the whole venue in Paris.
  19. Thanks, I wasn't sure because from the pics I've seen I couldn't recognise if it's inside or outside. But it seemed to me that the social distancing wasn't as strict, the only difference to a "regular gig" were the face masks.
  20. I hope so, also maybe the restrictions will change until October. I expected face masks and a negative test or vaccination certificate - I think that would be enough to open the whole venue but who knows... I don't know if you've seen the experiment in Barcelona, they had face masks but the place was still quite crowded and the result was fine, no transmission. However, I think it was an open air gig.
  21. That would be my plan too, I've never been to Paris before so I'd like to stay the whole weekend (arrive on Friday and leave on Monday).
  22. Now I've read on Twitter that there'll be probably only 1 200 seats (half of the venue).
  23. Yeah, I wanted a dress that can be both festive and casual because there aren't as many occasions for me to wear a formal dress. But I still hope the long sleeves make it formal enough to wear it even on more formal occasions.
