    What a coincidence with the choice of the gift for Mika' s birthday - adoption of a tree/ trees.

     

    Today I received an email from a Polish selling platform Allegro (sort of Amazon in Poland).

    You can choose the way of collection of your parcel - at post office, by a delivery company, or a very popular in Poland parcel locker.

     

    I almost always use a parcel locker. And there is a sponsoring program that when you use 10 times in one year a parcel locker option Allegro will plant a tree for you (in spring or in autumn). And at the moment of planting the tree they will ask you for a dedication you would like to add (virtually) to it. 

    And I was wondering how to connect my dedication with Mika. Because of the copyright I can't use any quotation from a song.

    But I thought about translation/modification (not 100% literally)  into Polish a part of Origin Of Love song.

     

    "you're the air I breath in,

    I don't know you're there

    but without you I will die"

     

    Which connects the idea of reforestation and Mika.

    Now I can't wait for the moment when my tree will be planted. Or maybe I will manage to collect another 10 parcel locker options before the end of this year and plant another tree?

     

    Allegro has to plant a tree not longer than 12 months since I get a right for it.

    So maybe it will happen this autumn?

    As it's the 14th of February I have to post this video from Strasbourg 2020. My best St Valentin's day - which I never celebrate - but you can't resist when you hear this:

    Oh, I just found on YouTube a Beatrice  video from London!!!!

     

    Mika was so nice even if he didn't speak too much.

     

    And so many people gave him our colorful paper hearts to sign.

     

    At last I can see my gift bag in the security guy's hands.

    He put many other gifts into it :aah:

    Yesterday when I was already in bed I closed my eyes and I imagined myself being in the Philharmonie de Paris.

    The concert started and Mika entered the stage.

    And at that moment we all started to clap our hands and scream so strong that Mika couldn't sing :clap:

     

    Ah, it was so pleasant feeling...... I felt this excitement in all my body!

     

    I can't wait to live it in real :cloud:

      I agree with you girls. This uncertinity is the worse but I'm trying to optimisticly look forward to it  and make my head busy with trip planning again. I was waiting for that for so long! 

      Tomorrow going to my first vaccination just to have safe travels this summer. Fingers crossed!

    Happy 14th Anniversary MFC!!!!!!

    February 2008 Vancouver in Canada - MFCers were there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Yep, that's an oldie but goodie! The woman with the orange hair was Suzanne, and the woman who posted the video, "Conceited Wombat" AKA Mana, used to be a moderator - and is still a big Mika fan. :)I saw her in Montreal last September 2019 when Mika played there. I love looking at the old videos - thanks for digging this one up! (And there were actually some rumors about Andy even back then... :teehee: )

    TicketMaster.fr sent me an information about a streaming concert of Sam Smith.

    By curiosity I've checked the prices.

     

    So we have a regular ticket for 11,50 EUR.

    And then more expensive onces with a poster.

    And even veeery expensive onces with the signed poster, a setlist and an access to a rehearsal footage.

     

    Et voila - new ideas are appearing...

    I don't find this Patato filter in my mobile. But a talking alpaka is funny as well.

    And I wonder if Mika watched the whole meeting or just the beginning? Nice to know he drops in from time to time.

    I had a dream with Mika last night.

    He surprised us so much with his collaboration with Danna Paola that in my dream I was in Mexico :mfr_lol:

    (I wish I could !)

    So I was sitting with my friend in a restaurant or a club. And Mika has arrived with a friend (I am not sure if it was Danna Paola). I've seen him for a second passing by.

    Me and my friend we decided to wait untill he goes out to take some photos.

    We've been waiting and waiting...

    At last a person from the club staff came to us (there were some other people on the club).

    She said that Mika would go out in a minute and she asked us to stay calm and to make him a little surprise.

    I don't remember what it was: we should clap our hands or say something all together ???

    But while waiting.... I woke up :emot-sad:

     

    Ha ha ha!!!!!! 

    Definitely I am missing a Mikadose :roll1:
