    Hi, you asked for a British fans take on the wording for the messages on the hearts and "We've missed you" signs. The following is how I had thought of wording it, if that is any help. If you wish to write either, "just" after the first song or "right" after the first song, both mean the same in this context and will be understood perfectly. You all have awesome abilities with the English language. My friend and I plan to do a few hearts and missed you signs Tomorrow. I would just like to wish everybody a very happy weekend. Those of us lucky enough to be going to London, may I wish you all safe and easy journeys and an incredibly fun time at Mika's concert. Please hold up this heart and back light with your phone during the song "Tiny Love". Thank you. Please hold up "We've Missed You" at the end of the first song. Thank you.

    Or we could keep it to "We've missed you", print as many as people manage to print, hand them out to whoever would like to hold them up, and print the MFC website on the back. The hearts could also have MFC on the back. It makes it look more official. Could we get some more members from that maybe?? Though I like the idea of representing the international fan base too. I also think you are right that we should not forget to enjoy the show that Mika has prepared for us, it's kinda what we have paid to see 😂

    I think this is a great idea. I think for Mika to look out on a sea of signs all saying "We've missed you", on the opening song, of the opening gig of his European tour, would be incredibly moving for him. Being in London where his career began, but knowing full well what an amazingly international audience he is playing to, would make it all the more poignant and symbolic. We already know what it means to him that people travel to his gigs. I love this idea. However, the list of "stuff" we are going to have to try to get into the venue is becoming a little daunting??!! 2000 sheets of paper is quite a stack. Though I guess if everyone going to the party on Saturday takes some plus a few more of us, it's only 20 sheets each?? Wish I was going to meet you guys on Saturday. Sorry. But I could come and say hello when I get up to London early afternoon, if you are queuing then. Before we go to check into our hotel and find some food. Were you thinking that these signs would have an instruction on the back like "Please hold up during the first song" ? There was talk of putting a simple instruction on the back of the hearts, are we still doing that?

    Not entirely surprising, but still disappointing. Good on you for trying though. Perhaps more of us should try, maybe they would have to notice then?? 🤔

    I love the bubbles idea. I'm sure my friend Carole would add to that on the first balcony. However you could well be right that security won't allow them in. Worth a try though, they are cheap and cheerful 😍

    I have a stinking cold and a week to get better! Lets hope people do stay away if they are ill. The cold virus is not a pleasant gift to bestow upon Mika and his band 🤒😟

    My friend Carole (British Mika fan but not on MFC) and I plan to try and make some hearts on Friday afternoon. So we will hopefully have a few more. Carole will be on the first balcony and I am in the standing area (dancing ... badly, but having fun 😂🤣). We don't plan to queue for long so will be further back in the standing area, so we can help to instigate fan action from further back. (My nephew prefers to be nearer the bar 😀 "Chainsaw Boy" from the Ice Cream fan video!! and a beer dude! 😂)

    Yes that's a good point. I get to go to a couple more gigs (soooo excited!!!) We do need to save some ideas. Maybe I will buy a pack of the light up balloons and see if they are any good, for possible future use.

    Oh my goodness, I'm so confused 😂 I'd love to be involved in the fan action though. Whatever it finally is. I will be with four others both balcony and standing. They are not MFCers but would join in to increase the effect I'm sure. Well done for getting something organised though. Fantastic. 😍 Is it too late to contribute to Mika's flowers? Sadly I won't be in London till Sunday so will miss the fan get together 😕

    Mika has asked us to do it, so we have to! 😃 Yes let's message every contact we can, as much as we can! I've mentioned Mika to so many people in the UK this year, friends, family, people visiting my campsite, random people I've met anywhere! (yes they definitely think I'm a bit nuts!). But seriously I have only had one person say they didn't like his music. If I had a pound for every person who has said to me this year "Oh yes Mika, I really liked him. Why did he retire? What happened to him?" I would be rich enough to follow Mika on your everywhere 😂😂 I emailed a venue earlier this year where I saw Mika in 2010, I got quite a positive response. Anything is worth a try isn't it? We should get contacting the BBC Two Ken Bruce show I guess. Let them know that we are delighted that Mika is on the show this Thursday.
