At the beginning he said that he create very intimist lyrics but not melancholic or sad, with on the contrary an influence of English pop. He said that he tried to include all the influence of the pop he loved when he was young, in French lyrics. It was a challenge for him 😁

For the lyrics 🔞
On brûle, la braise, une bulle on baise
I also hear the same, but I wonder if the translation is correct... In French the verb baiser has 2 meanings : have sex in a very familiar and vulgar language or it could also mean "to kiss" , which is OK with the next lyrics ta peau ma peau...??
The second meaning is more poetic than the first one 🤣
Only the official translation can tell us what Mika had in mind😅

I sent 2 more questions - which song of the album was the most fun for him to write & why, and what question he'd like to be asked about the album & his reply to that.
I like your second question, it's cleaver ☺️
I asked him also which song of the album was the most difficult to write or sing & why.

Before I went to bed I popped in another question!
Will he ever release or perform an acoustic version of C'est la Vie?
I hope he answers and I hope he answers YES! 😁
I asked him the same question 😉

Thanks! I've moved this here from French Press, as it belongs to the promo. Seems to be the only written interview about the song/album so far?
A question to the French speakers, what does it mean "I make wallpaper"? I tried to translate word by word, but it stays wallpaper, and I can't make sense of that, lol! 😅
"Faire papier peint " is in fact "faire tapisserie" which is a french expression. It means be a wallflower... It's like to fade into the background to not being noticed. Mika says he hides oneself during some parties because he doesn't want to sing.

Mika said on alouette radio station this morning that the album will be released the 1st december. He think it's funny to release the 1st september the single and the 1st december the album. 😁

I laughed so hard when I heard this interview...
His vision of the most romantic song is a song about sex during the end of the world...😂😂
So Mika!
