This is all very exciting and I'm happy that Mika will be performing new music for this tour but I'm allowed to be a little sad that there's no UK date right? Seeing as this is taking up the whole of March I hope Mika might go to more countries afterwards. Anyway, he is going to be one very busy man! I asked yet another question! I'm intrigued to know if he ever gets frustrated with creating new music and if so which part is the most frustrating.

I felt bold and asked another question! I wanted to know if he ever writes down simple song notes, forgets about them, finds them again and then turns it into something more meaningful for a song.

I asked about inspiration. What's the one main thing that inspired him to start writing songs in French? I know there's bound to be more than one piece of inspiration, but I'm just curious to know if there was one thing in particular. Mika has already talked about his Mother and family but inspiration can come from anything and anywhere, I'd love to know if something really random inspired a song. Maybe seeing someone slip on a banana skin inspired Sweet Banana?

Definitely! I remember he did one a few months before the release of MNIMH but I missed my chance then. I've put a question in now and it would make my day if he answered it! 😁 Although I do think he's rather brave for doing this, goodness knows what kind of questions/comments he might get that might be inappropriate to answer!

I know this is a typo but it did make me chuckle! After all Mika did write Lollipop and Ice Cream, and also Sweet Banana for the new album. We all know none of these songs are actually about food!

Went to a really fancy tea room today which had a large teapot collection on the shelves, one of which was a camel teapot! I thought it might be a little weird to start taking pics infront of other customers so I had a look online and this one is very similar to what I saw! 😁 🐪 🫖

Mika shared a snippet of some music a while back and I remember thinking "ooh this sounds tropical!", I wonder if it was for this song in particular!

Or maybe Mika hired him to work on his album art (as he suggest to him before) and now the poor guy is working the same hours as Mika and not getting any sleep himself!

I got more emotional watching the video rather than just listening to the song on its own. I don't really know why, maybe because now I understand the lyrics and a little more about the meaning behind them, I feel like not only is Mika hiding sadness in an upbeat song, with the video he's somewhat hiding amongst the crowd. It's kind of hard to explain, I mean of course he's right there in a bright pink suit for all to see but I feel like when he looks directly at the camera, there's something more hidden there too. His own emotion perhaps, his own sadness, and yet there's that big happy grin too. Mika's smile and his eyes always seem to say more than what any words can convey.

ClipMika (Natalie I think?) on Instagram has said that the new album will be out December 1st! Did anyone else hear that on the radio, and has he mentioned a title?

I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said, I totally get what you mean @mellody about the melancholic feel of the song, it's sad yet beautiful at the same time. Very much to Mika's style, finding a way to hide darkness in something so catchy with an upbeat melody. I want to dance to it but I also want to just sit down and appreciate and reflect on the lyrics. Those words are so open and deep, Mika really has put his whole heart into this song, not only can you hear it but it's something you feel too.

I've only just noticed this 'courses' option now when I log in, has it always been there? And if there is going to be a 'Mika 101' course, when does it start? 😁
