    I think all the content I'm reading about the Apocalypse Calypso tour is seeping into my subconscious mind at night and I had a brief dream about Mika last night. Me and a friend were getting the bus to a Mika concert but the bus departure was late and we were really worried about arriving late at the venue and not getting to the front row. The bus then didn't even stop near the venue and we had to get off and make a run for it. Luckily when we got to the venue the doors hadn't even opened yet and me and my friend were out of breath from all that running but we were definitely relieved to be there. A member of staff then came out to us and said we could go in early so that we could have a look around too. This is because the venue was in a museum! There were some rather unusual exhibits and large animal sculptures dotted around too, the stage for Mika had been set up in front of a water fountain of all places! There wasn't just a merch stand at the venue but a whole Mika shop! I got to go in early and bought everything!!! (because of course I did! 😅). I used my large bag of goodies as a cushion to sit on in front of the stage and me, my friend and a small group of other fans waited for Mika. He then came out on stage before the concert was due to start, he sat down at the edge and talked to us about the setlist and how he wanted to change it up. We all encouraged him to sing more French songs (and I'm sure I suggested Stuck in the Middle too). He agreed he would and then he noticed a hippo statue in the museum and said he might sing a song about hippos! We all took a group photo together with the hippo before Mika got ready for the concert. I don't remember much after that as I woke up super early today!

    It's odd that it doesn't say on the website what actually makes it limited edition and I haven't come across this edition anywhere else myself either. If anyone gets it I'd love to know what makes it different!

    Can't wait to see what people have to say about the first UK concert of the tour! Very interested to know the setlist. I know so far that he sang Bougez but I'm not sure if it was English or French. I'm sure Brighton gave him a warm welcome!!!

    I can assure you it is and all reports are looked into by a member of the mod team. Anything thought to be extremely concerning is discussed by the whole team privately. We do allow mild innuendo jokes on the forum, however some may be crossing a line. With the picture you shared above I can understand what you mean about it being inappropriate, maybe this can also be a further discussion to perhaps discourage such comments in the future.

    I've asked for help getting merch at gigs before and this request might also be a big ask but can anyone get me the new edition of the vinyl with the colour splatter affect on it? I've been told it's only available at the gigs and I would love to own it! I will of course pay for the item plus postage, please let me know by pm if you can do this for me!     He often describes himself as a citizen of the world! 😁 and could probably live just about anywhere. His known houses are in Miami, Tuscany and London.     I really should keep an eye on this thread more often. I love that we have so many talented singers and performers within the Mika fandom! I've never really sang publicly by my own choice infront of an audience, in the past it's always been as part of a school choir and back then there was no way I would dare offer to do a solo. I'm just not confident enough. Yet I do like singing and I don't think I'm bad at it or have a bad singing voice (my Mum is of course biased and says I sing well 😅), I would love to do a Mika cover or even something by First Aid Kit (another favourite of mine ❤) but it's my confidence holding me back. For the people here that have shared their singing, do you have any tips on not being so shy and boosting confidence? I thought maybe joining a project might help, I was reading your idea @CharlotteL about creating a fan choir with a Mika song. Is this still something you're wanting to do? I'd also love to hear more of Mika's French songs in English. A few on his new album could definitely work, AC could be a mix of French/English and C'est la Vie too, I'd love to give those a go. Maybe an idea for a future fan project too!? 🤔

    Travel and accommodation is booked and knowing I'll be seeing Mika in 3 weeks is starting to feel a little more real! 😁 Concert outfit is also sorted, but guys I have this lovely piano scarf I got for my birthday last year (yes, blame the Keep it Simple mv!), do I wear it or is it too on the nose for this event?! 😆 I will however have a rather special badge on my jacket on one side and also a little rose flower brooch on the other side too. I saw @Anna Ko Kolkowska idea about wearing large flowers for Mika's tour, I'm not seeing him on the AC tour so this will be my own little nod to feel like I'm still taking part! 😊
