  1. Hello Deb ! Sounds great ! I'm not going to the concert, but I would love to be part of the MFC cruise experience ! I would go with Paloma and my husband Oscar. Thank you so much for organising that meeting. Valerie
  2. Article publié sur le site de Chérie FM Belgique, 18 août 2020 https://www.cheriefm.be/articles/a-qui-doit-on-les-pochettes-dalbums-ultra-colorees.html
  3. Here's an article from Belgian newspaper HLN on August 18 2020. Seems like it has already been published in the Netherlands.
  4. Welcome Fabiola ! My name is Valerie. I discovered Mika like 2 years ago and I am 45. I‘m from Belgium, my husband is from Peru and we speak Spanish at home 😊 I can relate to your feelings about Mika. I got the chance to attend 2 gigs. Was supposed to attend 3 this summer (thanks covid 😠). My 10 yo daughter is also a fan, her name is Paloma. Mika dedicated the Song „Paloma„ to her during his gig in the Netherlands. If you would like to watch the short video, send me a DM and I’ll send it to you. You are right about the MFC : kindness, fraternity, diversity. I haven’t been here for long and I wish I could be more active (time... ☹️), but I feel really at home here 😊 I’m happy for you that you have found Mika. He’s a great artist and performer and his music brings joy and humanity in our lives.
  5. I miss the curls 😟 And you’re right, he should wear a mask.
  6. Thank you Eriko for sharing. Here's approximately what he says. "Mika is the first person for whom I designed a men shoe collection. He called me once and asked me to make him shoes for performing on stage. I said : "why me? normally I design women shoes." He said : "I have female friends, I have sisters, and when they wear your shoes, something wonderful happens, I don't know what, but they feel carried. And for performing on stage, I need to feel carried." The rest is about the shoes he designed for Michael Jackson.
  7. Sadly enough, all music festivals in Belgium have been cancelled until the end of August. Francofolies de Spa - UN ETE SANS FRANCOFOLIES DE SPA
  8. I'm a bit worried about that. What happened ? I hope everything is fine with him and his family, especially his mom.
  9. MIKA is an amazing artist, he's sweet, handsome, sensitive, he's got a good sense of humour and he is also cultured. How many men like him ?
  10. @mellody I completely agree with you. He seems to be more open to his fans about his feelings and that’s a good thing. And as you said, he can feel blue for any reason even if he seems to be in the conditions to feel happy.
  11. You are probably right. Anyway, I find it strange that he chose to post a story in which he looks sad. We are more used to his smile.
  12. Hello Adhara, Welcome to MikaFreaks Family 🙂 My name is Valerie, I am Belgian, but I'm fluent in Spanish. I'm also going to Mika's gig in A Coruña with my husband and daughter 🙂 I am new in MFC as well. I discovered Mika's music last year. Before that, I only knew the most popular songs from the radio and what I knew about Mika was mostly from his participation as coach in The Voice France. My first Mika's gig was in Lille in December, then in Utrecht in February. He literally blew my mind ! Such a great performer and nice person !! Feel free to write to me in Spanish if you like 🙂
  13. Oh really?! That is so sad 😞 I don’t understand why...
  14. Thank you @mellody and @Sabine64 for your replies. Anyway, I was wondering why there is no gig in Germany. Isn’t Mika famous there?
  15. Oh yes, thank you, I remember now. I wonder why he mentions Germany though.
  16. Hola Alexafreak y bienvenida!
  17. Thank you Naomi for sharing the interview. Interesting projects, indeed ! I am just a bit surprised to read that MIKA felt “told off” in Germany and Holland 🥺 What makes him feel that way ?
  18. Thank you so much ! It was indeed a wonderful moment for her, but also for me and my husband. Back in October, on album release, "Paloma" was the song I was eager to discover. I loved the song so much and my daughter too. Every time we listened to the song, we used to cry. And when Mika sang Paloma in Lille, my daughter burst in tears. She's only 10 and I'm glad she's a tiny MikaFreak.
