i meant 6 and a half foot, in length xD

12 inches in a foot thats -counts- 78 inches =]

Oh sorry, I thought you were talking about the patches :bleh:

It's so confusing with inches and feets and centimeters ^_^

Lucky to have google, there I can only type in "78 inches in cm", works with any kind of measurements, so easy because I hate maths ^_^

6 and a half foot, then Mika's feet won't freeze ^_^

But you're the master so it's up to you to decide what'll be the best and easiest ^_^

As dorky as it sounds, it might be a good idea to pick a measuring system from the beginning, just so we can talk about it all in one system! (note that I am currently hating being an American, we seem to make everything more complicated!)

tis a good point, i fear for my sanity xD

could we have inches and feet? lol

inches is "

and feet is '

so when i go 5" squared, i mean 5 inches squared lol

and 6'x7' would mean 6 foot by 7 foot lol =]

Well, the whole world except the UK and the US measures the same ^^

But we should use inches with this quilt. Inches is like the standard measure when it comes to quilting, even here in Sweden.

But I'll stil have to translate it to cm, or I'll have no idea how big anything is :roftl:

Lol I know that an inch is 2.54 cm and a foot is 30.48, but I have no idea how big that is anyway :bleh: I hope I'll make my patch in the right size ^^

Have you decided how many patches we're allowed to make? Or we'll wait and see how many will be a part of this?

Becuase I already have tons of ideas :biggrin2:

Good ^_^ Since there'll be 238 patches, I guess I can make a couple :biggrin2:

Or will there be more patches if you change the size to 6.5 feet?

Will our names be somewhere on the quilt? Just an idea, but maybe the patch in one of the corners could have our names embroided on it? Or maybe more patches, if not all the names fit on one...

there would probably be less patches if it was 6.5 feet, cos its going from 7 feet, to 6.5 lol =]

idk, i was thinking about that, maybe printing them off and ironing them onto a patch would be easier and quicker, then embroidering, im not too good at embroidery xD
