julinba Posted July 5, 2007 Share Posted July 5, 2007 ok well i know that he's born in beirut, moved to paris, then london, etc etc, the general stock info every interview includes. does anyone know anything else about him that's particularly interesting? rumors? these are things i've heard: he learned mandarin for 9 years, but didn't really pay attention in class because he just "gossiped" and drank tea, apparently. he never drinks coffee, and prefers earl grey (gray?) tea he's bisexual and i have a question: is he jewish? sry, i just have a fetish for jewish boys, lol, i know i'm a freak. i just assumed since his last name is "pretty jewish," acc. to my very jewey friend, and he mentioned that his album launch party was the "bar mitzvah i never had." hopefully, this thread will get juicy! You're going to soon find out that there are many MFCers who don't care about his sexuality, and are sensitive about the topic being discussed here because it is a facet of MIKA that he would like remained private, so its a way for us to respect that. Otherwise, enjoy all the other random and fun topics and threads that discuss everything else about MIKA! I do remember hearing an interview where he mentions he grew up as a "good, Catholic boy". Please don't ask me which interview because all the synapses in my brain is "MIKA mush" at this point. Anyways, enjoy the forums, I'm sure you will find all you need to know very soon. He's a big fan of Beth Ditto (AND SHOULD BE!), the lead singer of The Gossip. He "voted" her best Big Girl of the year. Hmm... what else... his least favorite animals are rats and fish.
