phunkygal Posted August 24, 2007 Author Share Posted August 24, 2007 this is a costume i designed: cobweb from a midsummer night's dream i also designed my prom dress. i sew like crap so my mom did it. she's a master...literally. close-up top (black beading) all of it (the little scrunch parts have peacock feathers and black beading) p.s. don't mind the 'police blackout.' oh! and if i designed stuff for mika they would be: hats, lanyards, socks/ipod sock. i saw the "sock" for ipods the other day:roftl: ...awkward. i guess they get cold, too? added u!~ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BonjourMika1990 Posted August 25, 2007 Share Posted August 25, 2007 So, I took a fashion class over the summer downtown...and this was my final project: 3 illustrations (Spring line) It was inspired by The Devil Wears Prada and Audrey Hepburn:blush-anim-cl: Now this...this I just created (It's a rough sketch) and I call it rainbow plaid with a little bit of grungy feel... But I like that the shape of the jacket is very classic and sophisticated...suddenly he'll turn around and you see a hoodie with the letters "mmmm" and you know it's a Mika one of a kind lol... Marianne84 Posted August 25, 2007 Share Posted August 25, 2007 I have made jewellery for myself. Necklaces, bracelets... I use plastic pearls a lot. And I like shaping little characters from clay that dries in the air... I don't have to burn it and I can paint it with watercolors and put some varnish on it to get the surface shine. I made Mika a bear pendant but haven't have a chance to give it to him yet. I'm going to do that in December. I will post pictures of my artworks later... findingmywords Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 What have I designed? Well... Hmmnn... I made a Mika shirt and sewed the word "MIKA" on the front.. I have made bracelets before. I'm thinking up a design that's gonna be Mika's silhouette I made an amazing vest that I'm still not done with, but the print is AMAZING. I just need a new sewing machine. So it's still in the making I made a purse that has one side a flowery print and the other side is another flowery print and they sort of clash, and then I found some ribbon that says "Delicious" all over them, so I sewed those to the straps and Voila! I have a delicious purse And I made a case for my ipod on time.. And I made a Coldplay shirt once and a Switchfoot shirt once.. Aaaaand that's pretty much it!
