I see ye're talking about college in Ireland...Devin, the one thing I'd say is check out about the cost. My cousin came from the US to study here and she had to pay the international fees, which are quite a lot. That said, though, I know college in the US can be crazily expensive too, so maybe there wouldn't be that much difference in the end! In terms of converting your results and applying to college in Ireland, I don't think there'd be any major problems. This might have been mentioned already but the main universities here are NUI Galway, NUI Maynooth, NUI Limerick, Uni College Cork, Uni College Dublin, Dublin City University and Trinity College Dublin. Well I am only really familiar with my surrounding counties but from what you've said the Ballybunion/Listowel area in Co. Kerry comes to mind! Ballybunion is a nice seaside area and has lovely cliffs and such! There is a theatre there, golf course and is quite a popular tourist destination in summer so has lots of clubs, casinos and things Then Listowel is just about 15/20 minutes drive from there, it's quite a big town, has lots of shops and a cinema, and hosts the Listowel races every year and which is always fun to be around the town for! There is also a leisure centre located between the two and it's about an hours drive from Killarney which is a really nice tourist destination! I'm not the best person to tell you because I'm looking to leave here as soon as I can,lol but there are a lot of nice safe places in Ireland. The country would be safer than the big cities or towns. Dublin is very expensive...imo. but there is a lot to do there. I'm stuck in the midlands, and well...there really isn't anything overly intereting to do around here...unless you're rich and like golf, theres a huge golf course and hotels here for some reason.
