I agree that one should have the freedom to express themself, as long as it doesn't disrespect or harm another person. On the whole the fanfics that I've seen on the MFC have been perfectly fine in my opinion but at some points in the past Mika has been portrayed in a seriously libelous manner and that in my opinion crosses the line. If everyone is considerate of each other's feelings and Mika's reputation, then I not only accept but encourage the fanfic form of creative writing.
