Rainbow Sky
I’ve noticed over the past few months different threads where people are asking for prayers, advice or support. It seems many MFC members or their family or friends are going through tough times, and they are reaching out to others for help. We on the MFC forum are a FANmily, and we need to show people that we are here for them and they can come to us at any time. This forum is a great way to enter a new, fun world; to escape real life and to provide entertainment and laughter. But, we all know real life takes over… and real life is not always easy. I would like to open this thread and invite people to come here when they need to. It doesn’t matter if your problem is big or small. Please come here and tell us a little bit about what is concerning you at the moment. We can pray for you and you situation, and offer you support and advice. Remember: You are never alone. There is always someone that loves and cares about you, and is here to help. All you need to do is ask.
babspanky
Nice idea RS. There are so many people on here who have had all kinds of life experiences, there is bound to be someone who can advise or help, or even just sympathise. And we are like a family, we can pull together and help when needed.
Rainbow Sky
Thanks babspanky. I agree with you 100%. Of particular concern are all the young ones on here. They may feel like they can't turn to their family or friends for advice (for whatever reason that may be). They need to know that there is a place they can come where they won't be judged, and where support will always be given.

HollyD
A few weeks ago I was away from my desk at work. When I returned, the girl who was covering for me told me that my mother had called- and she asked that I return her call. Immediately a very strange feeling came over me. In order for my mom to call me at work... it is automatically gonna be bad news of some sort. So, I very apprehensively called my mother. As soon as she answered the phone, she told me that Maria (my brother's girlfriend) had been MURDERED by her ex-boyfriend. He shot her three times in the face and neck- right in front of her mother and some children waiting outside at their bus stop. My brother had finally found someone who loved him in return as much as he loved them. He was so happy for really the first time in his life. They had plans to marry on March 24, 2008. And they also wanted to have a child together. Maria had never been married, and never had a child. She was only 39-years-old and had a whole life ahead of her with what could have been a very bright and happy future. It is such a tragedy. Please pray for my brother, his name is Dwayne. His whole life has been shattered- and he still has no idea how to pick up the pieces. He is sad and devastated beyond comprehension. I know that God will help heal his wounded heart in due time. Until then he needs all of the comfort and peace he can get. Thank you all so much for your time and caring!

Scut Monkey
There's a shortage of drama queens in this thread therefore I shall fill the void: today I had a severe panic attack in the middle of an extremely important exam and put in jeopardy my degree and therefore the career that I've worked hard for for the last 16 years. Hey Scut, you strike me as a very intelligent person, and I have confidence that you will do well in anything you ever do. I hope you do well in the exam despite your loss of confidence, and I wish you the best in all you do as you finally become that which you have always wished to be (a legal drug dealer *woot* ). I pray for the witnesses, that must be a terrible thing to witness.. And also for her exboyfriend. So that he may find peace and repentance.. Scut, I pray for success in all that you may do. Those children saw things that nobody should see in their whole life, I hope they will find the strenght and help to get over this trauma and your brother, it's terrible that he lost her so soon. I believe that our loved ones stay with us after they died, that they help us when we have it difficult, that they bring good things, love and happyness in our life (I know, some people think it's stupid ) My thoughts are with your brother, with you, with Maria's mother and with everyone who's involved in this tragedy. I know that Maria is looking over you all and that she'll help you guys in the grieving process. I hope that her ex will realize what he has done, what he has ended. Sarah_loves_mika
This has been a pretty testing year for me. It started off great but when a new guy turned up at school, things went downhill pretty fast. He influenced a lot of my actions and i ended up becoming dependant on things. It was only a few months ago i realised i had a problem with it and now im out of that situation doing a lot of charity work to try and heal myself, which is why i had to leave the MFC for a few months. And, i never really got the chance to say that if i ever offended anyone by an attitude i had in that time, it was not myself speaking and that i apologise. Sarah_loves_mika, I've never actually met you on here before, but I just want to let you know that I am happy to hear that you realised you had a problem in your life- which is a huge achievement in itself- and that you are actively seeking to overcome that. I pray that you will have strength to move onward and upward, and that you break free of any bondages or fear you may have... and I wish you all the best in your charity work. Helping others is such a selfless act, and so rewarding. I hope you will be blessed in this area. Thank you for sharing this with us. If you ever need to talk, just let us know. Rainbow Sky
Right I'm going to ask for prayers that I do well enough in my final two exams in order to transfer into education next year (my last exam I feel I am going to fail) soangel, I wish you the very, very best. You work so hard, and I am always in awe of all the study you do and the progress you make (despite the procrastinating, you always get it done). I pray that you are able to find the time to study and that you learn all the information you need to, and that you go into your exams with confidence. I pray that you do really well in the exams, and get the transfer that you desire. You're awesome!
