mika-gene

So except me, from Slovakia there are just these 3 girls on MFC, and I found out that they are all from one family: 2 sisters and their cousin. I wonder if they have some mika-gene running in their family?

Are you - or do you you know about - some other families in which 2 or more people are fond of MIKa and his music?

We had some family reunion some time ago in a restaurant and they were playing MIKa.. and I asked my cousin of which I thought 'maybe she likes it?' if she likes it and she said "what? this nasty englishman??" I wanted to tease her a bit so I said "not so much englisman - he is lebanonian." To which she replied some ugly interjections.. FYI in our family 'lebanonian' is kind of an insult, a bad word..

So no mika-gene in our family )-:

If you don't mind me asking (out of curiousity) why would your family think it an insult to be from Lebanon?

Maybe I overdramatised it, but in short, we have half family living in Israel and you watch TV, don`t you. Of course I know it doesn`t have anything to do with Mika. Some people simply have stereotypes and personalise a country with its politics in all its inhabitants and it is not correct.
