Cartoon motion is definitely the best way to describe Mika's style. This debut DVD offering from the "Grace Kelly" singer serves as evidence of his vibrant explosion onto the musical scene bringing with it his unorthodox style and quirky performances.

The DVD features the kaleidoscopic Mika-esque illustrations throughout and gives viewers a front row seat to his live performance at L'Oympia in Paris in June this year. His energetic stage performance features anything from balloons, to "big girls" and even a brief stint in a chicken costume and you can't deny that this guy puts everything he has into each song

.

Mika's voice translates well live on stage and he also demonstrates his skills on the piano. His songs are the kind of get-up-and-dance nursery rhyme style tunes that make for a pulsating live show such that the performance doesn't need the artificial theatricality of other concerts.

The DVD also has a few bonus features including music videos, acoustic performances as well as the documentary A Long Way From Home. This is a particular highlight as the footage is interesting and personal and you feel like the producer really got to know the artist and not just follow him around backstage with shaky hands.
