I was disgusted..but things are changing I hear...Not many people smoke in my city any more and quitting is actually more the norm..which is good to see! Diana
who has lost relatives to lung cancer? I have... Oh I've lost many to lung cancer. Both my parents smoke.. as does my brother. I never have and it pisses me off that I have to sit in their smoke all day. Plus they could get seriously ill from it. I'm asthmatic according to my doctor. He keeps giving me inhalers which I never use cuz I'm not really short of breath.. ever.

I know I ought to be using more of mine too...I really should,,,but they do bad things to my voice so I try to do with taking areius. Its an allergic type of asthma. you should tell your parents to stop smoking for your health! Heck if my parents still smoked and I was your age..well...lets say a certain government agency might be coming over .

It's their house so if they want to smoke in here then that's up to them. They can't smoke in my room though so I'll just sit there most of the time. By now I'm used to the second hand smoke. I'm 23, hardly a helpless child.

Diana
ooops sorry....just I get upset It's understandable, I get upset too sometimes. I just didn't like he insinuation that my parents were harming my health (even though they're essentially doing just that) because they're lovely. It's weird how you can't accept anyone else saying the things that you yourself do say to/about your parents. It's probably some primitive defense mechanism. Don't worry about it! There's no need to be sorry.
