can't Sleep because had big asthma attack! thank goodness for salbutamol!

I sound like a barking seal in a wind tunnel! but all is better now...

It can effect the singing and sometimes my voice cracks because my lungs are damaged from second hand smoke. I have never smoked.

I used to never have asthma! and warning please ...to anyone ..don't smoke or start to smoke around kids or me or anyone for that matter. I might die.

It can cause lung problems at any time. I urge any of you who smoke..please quit ..I can help you...I care ...

There is a saying I have: smoker: I have a right to smoke

non smoker: I have a right to live

who has lost relatives to lung cancer? I have...

I haven't had an attack for a long time either ! I got over a very bad cold!!

Just get so frustrated with seeing people smoking still in England and Europe when I was over there. I was disgusted..but things are changing I hear...Not many people smoke in my city any more and quitting is actually more the norm..which is good to see! I am going to write a song called :

"I DON'T LIKE KISSING AN ASH TRAY" -could be funny

Oh I've lost many to lung cancer.

Both my parents smoke.. as does my brother.

I never have and it pisses me off that I have to sit in their smoke all day.

Plus they could get seriously ill from it. :(

I'm asthmatic according to my doctor. He keeps giving me inhalers which I never use cuz I'm not really short of breath.. ever.

I know I ought to be using more of mine too...I really should,,,but they do bad things to my voice so I try to do with taking areius. Its an allergic type of asthma.

you should tell your parents to stop smoking for your health!

Heck if my parents still smoked and I was your age..well...lets say a certain government agency might be coming over .

Yeah  that's good thoughthat ppl r starting to realize that smoking is bad...many of my dad's friends smoke still:thumbdown:

haha that would be funny...but u know as they say the most serious stuff can be put forth as a joke :boxed: well something like that...:naughty: how about "i don't like kissing an a** tray" :roftl::mf_rosetinted: i don't know if in ur accent ash can easily be interchangeable with a** but with us when we say ash tray the h kinda sounds silent

I want them to stop smoking but it's not up to me to decide that.

It's their house so if they want to smoke in here then that's up to them. They can't smoke in my room though so I'll just sit there most of the time.

By now I'm used to the second hand smoke.

I'm 23, hardly a helpless child.

It's understandable, I get upset too sometimes.

I just didn't like he insinuation that my parents were harming my health (even though they're essentially doing just that) because they're lovely.

It's weird how you can't accept anyone else saying the things that you yourself do say to/about your parents.

It's probably some primitive defense mechanism. :roftl:

Don't worry about it! There's no need to be sorry.

Does anyone here have it? if yes, can you answer these questions please please!!

1.Age:

2.Sex:

3.Do you suffer from asthma?

IF YES, answer 4- 8

4.Which medication do you use to keep it under control?

5.Does your asthma change according to the season? If yes, please specify.

6.At what age did you discover you have asthma? Or were you born with it?
