IngievV Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Hey. I'm busy with a new page on my site and that will be called Quotes about Mika. But I don't have many yet:naughty: So if you have a quote about something someone else said about the Mikster then please post it here and I will be grateful forever:wub2:
Marilyn Mastin Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 When Sir Ian McKellen was on stage @ The brits, he said... "If you're wondering what I'm doing here, I've come to meet Mika!
xlindee Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 I never met him or anything but I can feel his wiseness. I see it every time I watch a clip of him shaking his ass. I always think, "There's a wise ass." - MuchoMacho Stolen from Christine's signature:naughty: I just love that one:roftl:

tauruslady Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfaE9h2zslE He seems very serious! I couldn't imagine him listening to Mika! And how did he not know the name of Love Today?
norwalk174 Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Sharon: She will be brilliant on Wednesday. That is what she does. There are great people performing. Mika is performing. GS: I’m interested to hear what Ozzy thinks of Mika. Ozzy: Who? Sharon: (cackling) I am interested to hear what Ozzy thinks of him too. GS: He’s a larger-than-life, flamboyant character. Ozzy: For my wife to like him, he has got to be gay.
Jazzy Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 He seems very serious! I couldn't imagine him listening to Mika! And how did he not know the name of Love Today? Be fair though, it's not like the title of the song is ever mentioned in the lyrics. Jonathan was super good (and a little bit fit) in Bend it Like Beckham though, so I'll let him off.

suzie Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 .. I am not sure about the exact quote but apparently Ricky Wilson from Kaiser Chiefs said that Mika's music was like crashing into giant marshmallows... ... I think it is funny and I like the fact that it is described in pictures, like meeting Mika's music in cartoon motion...
IngievV Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 Thanks everyone! If you find more, don't hesitate to post:naughty:
norwalk174 Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 "In a way, I find it slightly cowardly. We're living in more liberated times than we were 10 or 20 years ago, but it's still very tough in many parts of the world. There are still kids being beaten up,committing suicide. In Egypt, if a boy kisses another boy, they get hanged. You make the choice whether you want to be a political artist or an entertainer, or somebody who's very aware. Obviousely, he belongs to a canon of musicians that are entertainers." ~ Patrick Wolf "I loved the shoot and working with props. Mika was great - much better than a male model." ~ Felix Larher (photographer for Attitude magazine)

I refuse to use the PW one though, just because I am strongly averse to his name alone:mf_rosetinted:

Mika4Life13 Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 When Sir Ian McKellen was on stage @ The brits, he said... "If you're wondering what I'm doing here, I've come to meet Mika! I almost cried when he said that, The DaVinci code is my favourite movie
Marilyn Mastin Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 He said that? Go McKellen! Yes he did. He's one of our 'good guys.'
A. Clay Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 When Sir Ian McKellen was on stage @ The brits, he said... "If you're wondering what I'm doing here, I've come to meet Mika! ANYONE KNOW IF HE DID?

ewokwicket Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Taken from a comment to Greg Wells on his myspace page when Mika had his MMMM page....... "Never trust a man wearing red trousers"
