mikais Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Well Im from Oklahoma and I first heard Mikas music from Josiah Leming, he sang Grace Kelly on American Idol a week or so ago. I got caught up in the lyrics esecially when he got to violet sky, for some reason the word sky caught my attention because it seemed up in there randomly and the word itself so beautiful. - Well thats the first time I "heard" his music, but not the first time I'de listened to it. I saw him before on So You Think you can Dance, and had a typical American reaction, thinking he was trying to hard to be the new wierd person. Then again singing the Betty theme song and I thought.... yeah he's getting somewhere. After American Idol I went online and heard Grace Kelly then watched an interview of his. He musically opened a door I hadn't concidered before by answering qestions from a musicians side of things. Instead of making his life story the most interesting thinkg about him, it seems like he'd rather be known by his music. And when he's asked a question that suggests something he first disconnects his answer from the original one asks it again and answers in a way that doesn't insult the interviewer and answers in a way that mkes you forget the question and the answer because it was so musically inclined remains. I got his album a few days ago, I asked a few of my friends listen. They fell in love. And were suprised I liked it so they gave it a chace. Of course they fell hopless to the catchyness of Love Today, then I played Grace Kelly and let them have at it. I give new music a good look before I cast it aside now. Now I can give musicians a chance instead of quick grouping them. _ OK so im a registered Mika fan now_ So... Hi!
