Mmm, maybe there's no smoke without fire.......

We have seen a few times when he doesn't look too impressed with the press, for example when he went to the Cirque du Soleil (was it?) And also when he doesn't want to answer a question or when the interviewer goes off script.

We only see the Mika that Mika wants us to see.......

Guys, before we call in the MFC Mafia - let's take a step back.

 

Clearly, she doesn't like Mika's music - the line about it being "sell-out sugar drenched pop" makes that clear. So of course she was going into it with a bad attitude to begin with.

 

The whole "Mika's not doing press" anecdote is from a year ago. Maybe he was tired after an endless stream of press appearances. Maybe he was just being an a** that day. But regardless, she's dredging up old news there.

 

As for the Capital Awards thing, I still don't think that was any deliberate snub. He looked like crap that day, and probably just wasn't thinking when he walked off the stage. I don't doubt for a second that he can be a jerk when he wants to - I just don't think that was one of those instances.

 

As for the Models1 thing - now this chick is getting offended because he's got a special arrangement with a modelling agency? The pictures they have of him were some of the first to surface - again, old news.

 

What it boils down to is that she never liked his music, thought him a sellout, and then took his "not doing press" comment from a year ago personally. And she's holding a grudge. All the power to her, I say.

i think you are right... she really doesn't like him. and maybe it's a 2 way street. :boxed:

Sound advice - I posted there the other day - and the person who originally found the article did not post it - she did not want a string of abuse from Mika fans which will just reflect badly on us!! Its one person, in a house magasine, which is read by about 100,000 people - many of whom will already have composted the mag before they got to her page!

She's just annoyed that he won't talk to her. leave her alone, she wants people to read it. I doubt she'll think better of him if fans attack her. We all remember what happened with that one college newspaper lol, if you must comment, please keep it in the positive, you are representing all of us.

That was all so un true! I havent met him, but from what i have seen he is as obsessed with his fans as we are with him! and if he doesnt want to take pictures for press, i dont blame him!

Hm, to be honest, I don't perceive this article extraordinarily hateful. She's talking out of her experiences and apparently has just had bad luck with Mika, having come across him in the wrong places or at the wrong times. Or maybe she should change the paper she's working for.

Maybe I would have drawn the same conclusions for myself if I had been in her place. Sure, she's calling him a twat and whatnot, but I've even heard fans say that :naughty: I don't even think I'm badly mistaken saying I sense she'd give him a chance to change her mind :mf_rosetinted:
