HollyD Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Always GO somewhere!!!! I never stay HOME! Last weekend Disney World! This weekend probably the mall and out to eat - MAYBE the beach!!!
*daring*to*be*different* Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 On a Saturday, I wake up to too late, have coffee and crepes with my boyfriend while talking and listening to the radio, then I go out for a jog and buy a magazine and the newspaper. Get home, have a shower and change clothes. Then I tend to either go shopping with my boyfriend or go out somewhere special for the day. On a Sunday I buy the Sunday papers and read them at breakfast time. I visit my parents and occasionally my sister, and then in the evening I cook a Sunday roast dinner and pour out wine for my man and I.

So lucky!! i would love to go to disneyland/world just for the day! I could, but it might get a tad expensive On the weekend? Tend to just either hang around home, go for walks in parks, shopping, out for meals and out with friends. A nice time to relax, and catch up on any work that needs to be done!!
-Jennie- Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Hah, definetly! Ugh...just thinking of work on a Sunday creeps me out! I don't think of Sundays as Sundays anymore because I NEVER get one off. Tuesday's and Wednesdays are my Sunday's now Much more practical too. I can go shopping without all the queues and stuff and the tubes are definitely nice and quiet at 7:30 on a Sunday morning!b:naughty:
mandilambi Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 On Friday nights I hang out until my sister, her husband, and I go to the movie theater where my boyfriend works and we watch a movie after hours. The last couple of weeks we have watched all of the old Indiana Jones movies and we will watch it before it's release next week. On Saturdays...it all depends, really. I usually sleep in until around 11:00am. Sometimes I stay home, sometimes I go shopping, or go out to eat with my sisters. Oftentimes, I go to visit my parents in the evenings on Saturdays. On Sunday I go to church every week with my sisters and brother-in-law. Later in the afternoon I usually hang on with my boyfriend...watching a movie or just spending time together.
iadoremika Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 What do I do on the weekend? Well I usually am lazy around the house doing homework and going on the computer. That and going to the mall. But I ocassionally hang out with friends, see a movie etc Next weekend I'm going for a BBQ to my best friend's house. I get to meet the guy she likes...then afterwards her and I are having a sleepover.
Fmbm Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Normally, I have piano lessons at 2:30pm on Saturday and I wake up kind of early in the morning to practice. Then after I get picked up from my lessons I go to McDonald's On Sundays my mom makes dinner and yeah. This Saturday I have to get a new eye prescription....my eyes are getting worse

This Saturday I have to get a new eye prescription....my eyes are getting worse The part I hate about going to the eye doctor is when they blow that puff of air in your eye and tell you not to blink (and I'm like...are you kidding me?!? sometimes I have to do it 2 times...) I have glasses (wait and contacts as well, but only the clear ones because people have said I have nice eyes:blush-anim-cl:)
englishrose Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 My school district doesn't have school on Fridays--yes, read my lips people, every weekend is a three-day weekend!! I took the opportunity to get a 1-day-a-week job on Fridays. It's way nicer, working one day a week throughout the year, than working constantly in the summer. On Saturdays and Sundays...sometimes I'll venture into the big city with a couple of friends and hit the thrift stores Sometimes I'll stay at home and be lazy...getting up at 12...a lot of the time I go to my best friend's house and we watch movies and cool things like that. This weekend I'm going to her house on Friday night, and I'm hoping we'll be able to go and see a play with her. On Saturday, me and a couple of other girls are getting together to buff up a choral song we wrote together a long time ago...then on Sunday I'll probably just be lazy. I've got Monday off as well, it;'s Victoria day, so I might do something then. Wow, that was really long.

I've always contemplated on getting contacts, but I don't think I'd be able to touch my eyes...it scares the crap out of me:naughty:

But what I do have are no exams this semester (for my school there is either a final project or an exam to make up 30% of your grade and this semester I have all final projects. So I get to leave school whole week or 2 early)

The first couple of times, it may be a bit difficult but honestly after the first couple of times, it become easy. And you can't even feel them once they are in (or at least the ones I got...and artificial tears can come in handy...) Yeah, when I first got them which was in January sometime, I was like "it must be weird touching my eye" but after a while it just becomes second nature...hehe
