Actually, it would be quite good.

When I was little, my parents owned a little restaurant for a year. The most popular thing on the menu was a honey glazed fried chicken that my dad made. It was SOOOO GOOD!

Maple syrup isn't honey, but I'm guessing that it would be similar because it's so sweet. Meat goes surprisingly well with sweet things. My mom serves pork chops with applesauce. It's common in the states to serve turkey with sweetned cranberry sauce or cranberry jelly.

I'm betting that people who eat at Chicken & Waffles pour syrup on their chicken as well as their waffles. :biggrin2:

Also, I had waffles for dinner last night

It's a shame I got no chicken :naughty:

:lmao: OMG!!!! NO CHICKEN TONIGHT :naughty:

I didn't have waffles last night -- then again I had no chicken either! :mf_rosetinted:

Well.... I think you are on to something there because I LOVE honey chicken -- have it every time I eat chinese food - so yeah.... it is just the though that turns ya off.... but then again if you think of :chkn: I invision the use of syrup in a whole new way :das:
