Cassilda Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 ok, so it looks like some parents have never heard boy sopranos sing... yes, Justin Bieber also sings high because he still has a pre-puberty voice but he is not a soprano and is really average. Normally, boys' voice breaks between age 13-17 as far as I remember. They have been around for centuries, and many composers were members of it when they were kids. Some classical pieces simply sound best in their performance - like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TyGo9FecLA I love choral singing in general but the Vienna Boys Choir is on a different level - a league of its own.
