Ruth
Oh nice, I love Twiglets as well! Did you send them back with some? Actually, I did. It seemed only fair as they gave me chocolates, flowers and a porcelain egg
Ruth
Is PARMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO classed as English food or just Teesside food (I know it is an extremely RARE dish outside of Teesside. http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/gazettelive2/dec2007/9/8/D2F976FB-FB49-0244-7952CB0C7949F733.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/2007/12/13/finalists-announced-for-world-parmo-championship-84229-20244377/&usg=__7Ax2Hi2rbU_a5EY8SbA-XEBskDk=&h=227&w=180&sz=25&hl=en&start=6&tbnid=rUpBfJ8ZxiC0DM:&tbnh=108&tbnw=86&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dparmo%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG I've only heard you and Freddie talking about them I love how they got their original name from the parmesan cheese with which they are no longer topped. Ruth
What British candy/sweets/food would you recommend? I guess this might be a bit late - but smarties and other Rowntrees products fruit gums, fruit pastels and everything Cadbury is good

iadoremika
My grandmother (from England) arrived here last night, and she brought bags of candy (grandma win ). Last night I had two things: strawberry shoelaces (YUM!) and something called Revels (they were okay). I had one thing this morning called Cadbury Dairy Milk buttons...those were truly amazing, tastebud tantilizing deliciousness!
